I love to read, but I don't always get the time. But, being a raging insomniac, I watch a lot of nature documentaries in the middle of the night.

Flash back to my 10 year old daughter. It was time for 'the talk'
Naturally, I agreed with mom to take the first run at it woman-to -woman. I came home as the discussion was wrapping up. Apparently, she ewwed and asked questions and everything was going well....enter the dad 😶
I knew how much she was into biology and animals....so my contribution? "And that is how all mammals procreate..." At this, this moment was when she screwed her face up. "But daddy, whales are mammals. How does THAT work?' Mom looking at me with death, "yeah daddy....how does that work? Go ahead...."

Sadly, I have seen my share of nature videos...including whales...and this began the finer points of whale sex with a 10 year old.
