Perhaps. But all I said was that in the USA the news outlets (TV, internet, whatever) are full of stories of gun killings, while in most of the rest of the world (unless you live in Syria or Myanmar, etc.) not so much. You can hardly disagree with that.

The problem isn't guns, like you're being told by those who want to manipulate you without telling you facts or using logic and reason to analyze the issue. The problem is crime and a failure of the justice system to function as it was designed to do instead of acting like a revenue generator for the State/County. Cops arrest those accused of crimes, the arrested guy has a long rap sheet, and all the court does is impose Own Recognizance (OR) release and another fine, on top of all the other fines the arrested guy has already, with extra included court fees(!!!)

Which sounds more like a revenue operation than justice because the arrested guy just goes on his merry way to commit even more crimes, knowing that he's never going to pay anything financially or spend time behind bars.

As for the gun debate: Disarming the kids in schools will not "protect" them from a BAD GUY who doesn't care that murder is illegal. It doesn't matter the method the BAD GUY uses, guns, bombs, or Sarin gas, murder is still illegal. So the BAD GUY isn't obeying the law and isn't going to obey the law. Thus, disarming his victims only makes it easier for him to do what he wants to do.

Just like when Hamas raided Israel and killed 1500 UNARMED civilians and kidnapped more. Being unarmed didn't save anyone, it only made Hamas' job easier.

So, in the end, the problem isn't guns. It's ignorance and false statistics and a government willing to allow the citizens to be harmed so that they have more money to spend on themselves and their lavish "official" lives.

So where are the statistics that say, for example, that the number of people shot dead in the UK is comparable (on a per capita basis) with the number of people shot dead in the USA? Or are you saying that crime is astronomically higher in the USA than in, for example, the UK, and the larger number of shooting victims is the result?

Those young men (not children) should have had guns capable of dealing with bears if they were alone in bear country.... if they had simply been armed, as the 2nd Amendment confirms is a right, they would have been able to take some nice rugs home to their parents.

And if Elisha had been armed with, say, a 7.62 semi, it's unlikely they would have mocked him as they did.
