Sex & Shenanigans

I just signed up for Duolingo to improve my japanese... this is a lot of fun 😱 why haven't I jumped on the bandwagon before?? Has anyone else tried it; if so, how's it going after X amount of time?

How much are you predicted to get?
I think I’m going to be right on the edge of the storm, but hoping we get at least a dusting!
Impossible to say, I’d be shocked if it sticks, and it’s supposed to be preceded by a “wintery mix” so it’ll probably be a slushy mess more than a serene dusting.

But I’ll post pics for you either way 😘

What is this white stuff you guys keep talking about… I ask because I hear rumors I could gets some tomorrow, im kind of terrified 🥶🥶

I'm in the FL panhandle and they're saying 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow here. 😮 I've lived here for 8 years and the most we've ever gotten was 20 minutes of flurries once!

Im on the Gulf coast too, and I’ve lived here for 40 years, I’ve seen it snow maybe 10 times on my life, and once was in Canada.

I’ve seen maybe 4-inches as the deepest

The biggest thing about snow in the south is that they don’t have the infrastructure to clear the roads.
10 years ago when it snowed here it shut down everything and was a giant mess but this time they handled it a lot better. Also… I just didn’t leave my house for 2 days until it melted 🤣 I think a lot of others did the same.

Correct. And I will probably be staying in also, mostly to avoid the drivers who 'think' they know how to drive in the snow.

But that might mean a supply run today, and crowds at the store. 🤦‍♂️

FACTS,
“I’ve driven in snow all my life!”
I’ve hard those words a dozen times and heard of 8-9 wrecks or fender benders from the same people.
We don’t have plows, we don’t have salt… we have tons of sand because beach, but we can’t keep this crap laying around to use once a decade ir so.

Get a few days worth of supplies and enjoy the time off work…
