I can’t count the number of shitty jobs I had where I drove all the way there in the snow/ice to find no one else there. I have missed out on at least 5 or more “snow days” because I got up and went anyway only to find out there was no work that day.

When I lived in Tennessee in my youth I remember it snowed like maybe an inch and it was like mad max. People were almost fist fighting at the grocery store.

I moved to a place where I assumed it snowed a lot. Even packed a snow shovel and ice melt into moving truck, since we moved in February, it has snowed twice in 3 years… I don’t even know where the snow shovel is anymore
