I am getting ready to sneak over to my ex's house (she knows, by the by) to top off the stockings her her and my kid. So I am limited to one eggnog before I get back. Anjo tequila and sherry make an outstanding fresh eggnog.

My family does a white elephant gift exchange. My sister in law opened an old, portable, Royal typewriter, in a black, hardcase. We are able to steal, and it called to me for some reason, so I stole it. Ended up keeping it. Found out it was my great uncle's, when he wrote for the San Francisco Chronicle.

It's a small piece of family history and I am happy to have it now.
