Your Sex Ed

To be perfectly honest, schools sex ed was pretty useless and really boring and clinical. Sometimes I wonder if they were trying to get us uninterested in sex.
I got pretty much all my knowledge from porn.
You saw things that looked hot and watched more of that, and kinda took notes on what guys liked etc.
Then once you got the chance you tried, and failed and tried again.
Or you watched porn with a guy and you experimented together.

I've heard a lot of people tell me that porn sex is not real sex, but I think the younger generations learned from it and its the kind of sex we have.
So how is it not real sex then?

In 1979 I was in the 6th grade, in the Long Island, NY public school system. Sex education was "how babies are made". In my school years to follow they added STDs and birth control. That's about it.

Was it useful information that was shared? Or were you all still fumbling around your first times?
I think most guys fumble around their first time. The problem with most of what boys read or hear from their dads is mostly male fantasy. We learned the mechanics and a few "tips" about how to get a girl out of her bra and panties, but most were just either imagination or bragging about something that probably never happened. What was missing was any specifics about how women aren't all the same and what to do about it.

Every woman I've been with seems to be different. Some are aroused by just a little manipulation of their nipples while for others that's too much stimulation until they're already pretty aroused. Some are ready for some clit play pretty much from the get-go, but others need to wait until they're already pretty ready to be penetrated. Some like slow and steady strokes, others like fast and short. Since most women don't know what they like a man to do with them their first time, they can't tell him. If a man doesn't "feel his way" so to speak, the experience isn't all that great for either partner.

How was your sexual education like?
Learned as I went along. Then a drill Sargent told me to wash my dick if I stick it in a crazy hot hooker cause I’m not the only one she love a long time.
Do you think it prepared you for being a sexual being?
fux yes
Where did you learn the most - school, parents, friends, books, online?
see above answer
What was something you wish you learned before your sexual debut?
There’s no need to tip a hooker once your buddy’s buy the puss for you. #Nuremberg the wall

p.s. Never trust a hooker that fuxs with sailors either …lol

On Literotica I’ve learned about cyber sex. The quicksand words or phrases that can sink you into traps 🪤. Of assumptions. Those things can ruin it for someone.

I’ve also learned the art of PM seduction , the mistakes will make you better at it overall. It’s a risky business, in box e-boning , flirting , finding boundaries with strangers that have the potential to be mutual masturbation partners.

I don't know, I barely remember any sex education in school, if we had any I might have skipped class that day. Or maybe I just went to school stoned that day.

My recollection was that most people I knew didn't take it serioisly or even mocked it. It was offered years too late for a lot of us.

Nothing from home--sex was a taboo. School - Have sex, and the girl gets pregnant while you die from horrific diseases. Church - No sex of any kind until marriage or go to hell What I learned about sex, I learned from books and from my fiance

My sex education class was trash. This was in 1990's New Jersey in the USA. Also, I learned a lot from magazines, the Internet, and books. I've never had any type of sex, so no idea how accurate my sex education (both formal and informal) was.

Right then Brit 1970's style sex education program. This was delivered in a British forces school somewhere near Minden, Germany.

My parents were given a "sealed" envelope in which was the authorization to show us two sex films. After being duly signed, I returned to my school, handed it in and a day later in a mixed class room of girls and boys, of about 13-14 year old's, we got two public information films, from the 1950's. One was about how babies were made, black and white drawings of penis and vaginas. The other was family planning and how to prevent having babies. This was, I think, pre the pill, but that must have been close on the heels there.

At the end a teacher went and stood in front of the class and asked if there were any questions, (wait a heartbeat), and then we were sent off to the next class.

Unfortunately, mine was due to abuse of myself and my little sister at 8 & 5 years of age, by a cousin. My mom bought a book explaining things as part of therapy.

TBH, I’m still learning. Sure, I’ve had plenty of partners, and had some fun. But if Lit is a reflection of the breadth of sexuality in society today, I’ve still a long ways to go.

As for the traditional sex ed venues?:

Family/parents=zero
Public school=useless
Peers=misinformed
Articles in Playboy=helpful if not mystifying
