I would like to donate them somewhere.
I've seen them selling for chump change at the flea markets...
Not worth the effort.
I hate to just throw them out.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Ha, this reminds me about a time when I had a stack of about 25 magazines my brother had given me when he graduated from college. My wife put up with it for a few months then they had to go. They were in an apple box. When I set them out with the trash I put a note on top " look inside ". The next week the trash guys were running late and happened to be collecting our trash when I came home from work, they called me over, they thanked me for the "package" it was the best bonus they had got all year. Remember one mans trash............. literally lol.

Honestly id say do a little research. Because depending on the issue some of those could be worth a couple hundred bucks depending on condition and content. Im refering to pictures and/or articles relating to famous celebs.

I have some mags fronm the early eighties late seventies...

Penthouse,High Times, Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers ect.

I remember a bar where the mens room was wallpapered with old magazine covers. Playboy, Penthouse, Sport's Illustrated, some of the cartoon pages from the Playboys. It was wallpapered and then sealed in with some sort of clear coating. It was very interesting, always something to look at when you were taking a leak or waiting for the guy in front of you to finish.

Put them up for sale on Ebay. If you're just looking to rid of them, put them up for cheap; they'll probably go pretty quickly. If you really want to get rid of them fast, list them in one set for whatever it would cost you to ship them. Someone will snatch them up, especially if they're older (e.g. 70's or 80's).

I concur with eBay. You can sell them individually or as a set. Either way, they'll probably go fast.

When I moved a couple years ago, it was time to get rid of the Playboy collection. There were over 100 issues dating back to the 60's. I advertised them for free to pick up on Craigslist. Guy contacted me and he came right over. Not only did he take the collection and the old military footlocker they were in, but he took four milk crates of old vinyl of about the same vintage. I probably could have sold them, but it would have been a pain in the ass to do so.

The guy emailed me later that night to say he was listening to old ELO and reading a Playboy interview. He added that his wife was thrilled with all of it. That was all the payment I needed.

if you could find a way to send them to the GIs overseas, that would be a huge win.

go online (ebay, facebook, etc) and try to sell them. Some might be worth something

A few years ago a friend's dad passed. She asked me to deal with her dad's stack of old magazines. After a little research I discovered that they aren't worth much, with some rare exceptuons. After unsuccessful ads on CL and eBay I just took the whole pile to the recycling dumpster. He had almost every issue of Playboy and Penthouse, but I couldn't find anyone interested in the pile.

He had some interesting, but mild link in the mix. Ladies shaving appearantly used to be a niche fetish. Very tame by comparison now.

So, namron711...

What did you end up doing with those magazines?

There's this thing that most households have..... it's called a garbage can..... my lord, who in the hell donates their used porn magazines??? And more to the point who goes out looking for used porn magazines?? Easily the dumbest question I've seen on the entire internet. LMFAO... moron.

Back before the internet, I had a collection of Playboy and Penthouse. I had several collectible issues, Vanna White and Vanessa Williams in Penthouse, Raquel Welsh and other celebs in Playboy, including every month of Playboy from 1983 to 1995. Through a friend, I found a dealer that paid me $750.00 for my collection. During the pandemic and a bored search, I realized I got a deal. The internet has killed the value of the old collectibles because all those pics, stories, cartoons, etc. can now be found some where on-line.

If worse comes to worse, just leave them out in the woods. Some lucky kid will stumble on them like we did as kids! Like finding buried gold!
LOL! I remember those days, or a buddy finding his dad's stash and sharing it with us. Now, all they have to do is pull up their phone and they have instant access to way more hardcore stuff then we had back then.
