Lack of self awareness is bipartisan. MTG and Bobert are probably (hopefully) going to be ousted next year. Bobert has already conceded she can’t be re-elected in her present district.
My sense is that most reasonable people are supportive, and really, more power to them. But as you know, free speech is well and good, but it has consequence's. I think the powers that be are cloaking it in super dire language. And what happened to academic freedom and collegial liberal live and let live? But academic contracts often have moral turpitude clauses which are often kinda vague. So being a being a happy sexy couple and selling super explicit sex vids could easily be at odds with a leadership position at a university.
It's that last sentence that's the whole point.

I’m all for sexual positivity, but what does it say about us if we hold public figures/leaders to a standard? Hypocrites? Prudes? Neurotic relationship with sex? Maybe we think it speaks to a judgement issue? Should we care at all? Weigh in, people.
