Tony Perkins demonstrates why I refuse to give the Men's Rights movement a "Mulligan"

This is what selling your soul to the devil looks like.
And women are rising up all over the country, along with people of color, racking up a swelling tide of losses for the GOP in midterm elections that will tragically catch this arrogant, power-drunk party by surprise in November. (Women are, by the way, the majority of voters.) That the GOP lost in a titanium-solid stronghold like Alabama shows they're in for a beating. And considering people of color make up the majority of births now, and POC mostly vote Democrat, the damage the GOP is doing now will ensure they and women will never vote GOP by majority again. The GOP has earned the eternal emnity of everyone who's not a rich white WASP CIS male.
And meanwhile, a ton of men's rights activists have given their own leaders (like Paul Elam and others) a whole heaping truckload of Mulligan do-overs despite their glaring hypocrisies, scams and trollish shock jockery. And most horribly, they've sold their souls to these same Christian-ist MAGA goons in the GOP. All because they see in the GOP a chance to get even with women. MRAs have thrown in their lot with the same nutjobs who are mad at the "evil" women who want their contraception covered on their health care plan (aka "whores"), the women who don't want to be groped in the workplace, and even the women who "are taking deh men's jerbs" as headliner characters in movies. (See: Force Awakens, Fury Road, etc.)
They sat silent while the alt-right declared war on contraception and sought to de-fund Planned Parenthood. They sat silent while trolls flooded Twitter with "#Repealthe19th" - this, after we all waged war on "Kill All Men".
MRAs may not be these misogynists who so thoroughly hate women and legislate their naked vendettas against women, but by voting for them, they have become complicit, and worse, they have become accomplices. The Men's Rights Movement doesn't deserve a Mulligan to get over that. Those of us who see the hypocrisy of this need to stand up and loudly hold the movement accountable.
MRAs are cheering right now about how Donald Trump is using his political power to clamp down on women and kick the feminists in their asses. How quickly we all forget how feminists did this to us for decades and they have paid a dear price - most notably culminating in Donald Trump. MRAs have forgotten that gender revenge politics is toxic and is the destruction of a gender rights movement. And just as it ruined feminism it will be the ruin of the men's rights movement.
Oh and in closing? MRAs, by voting Republican, shot down their best chance so far at making Selective Service gender neutral. Democrats were on the verge of including women in Selective Service, resolving one of our top five biggest grievances of all time (the all-male Draft). Then Trump stole the election and the GOP nixed that right off. And no MRAs out there, anywhere, even realize or care. It's as if they don't even know about Selective Service's sexist nature and how the men's rights movement has fought against it for decades.
That's what happens when you let revenge and pointless political agendas take precedence over your principles. But that's only the first item on the long bill of retribution that will be handed to the GOP - and the men's rights movement for being the GOP's accomplices.
Karma does not hand out Mulligans, least of all to the unrepentant. Feminists learned that in 2016, Christian-ist Conservatives and the alt-right are going to learn that, and MRAs are going to learn that.
