The Party of Rapists and Sexual Predators

no ifs, ands or buts! LMFAO! :D

Biden must be following this thread. After his press secretary announced yesterday that Biden didn’t really mean it when he said he had zero tolerance for sexual harassment, they just announced TJ is out. No word on justice for Tara though.

GOP policies made it easier than ever for Matt Gaetz to prey on young women

In a column for the Daily Beast, sex worker Casey Thompson said it was no wonder that Matt Gaetz was reportedly able to find young willing women -- some of them possibly underaged -- who would exchange sex for money because the Republican Party has created a society where poverty is all too pervasive.

As Thompson notes, Gaetz and his friend Joel Greenberg stand accused of paying young women for sex using Venmo -- with Greenberg already pleading guilty to six felonies that include underaged sex trafficking -- and that has exposed an ugly secret about how young women in the United States struggle financially.

"The case rings awful to me not because of what Gaetz—who has denied any wrongdoing and said that he 'never, ever paid women for sex'—allegedly did, but because his political career and the political party he supports, which once claimed to care about 'family values,' helped create the economic circumstances in which the decision to f*ck men like him for tuition, or to cover the rent, is rational," she wrote before adding, "Minimum wage increases, subsidized child-care programs, and more state and federal funding for college would all decrease desperation—and that is what the Gaetzes of the world don't want, politically or personally. Life is better for such men when there are lots of struggling women."

So, after the disturbing and extremely credible allegation that Brett Kavanaugh attempted to rape Christine Blasey Ford at a party when she was 15 years old, Republicans have come out of the woodwork, attempting to defend his behavior.

And here I thought this thread was about Bill Clinton, Andrew Cuomo and Grandpa Badfinger himself, Joe Biden.

I gotta say that when you start off with "extremely credible allegations" and they came from that crackpot Christine Ballsy Ford, you immediately qualify as full of shit.

I'm guessing OldUrinal didn't watch Beer Boof Boy's confirmation hearing.

The only one who wasn't credible was the DEPLORABLE "justice" Brett Kavanaugh.

The DEPLORABLE "justice" Clarence Thomas is no longer the scummiest sitting Supreme Court justice.

Fox News paid $4 million to cover up sexual harassment allegations against Kim Guilfoyle: report

Kim Guilfoyle, the Trump campaign finance chair and romantic partner of the president's eldest son, was allegedly terminated from her previous job at Fox News in 2018 after her former assistant accused her of sexual harassment. Moreover, Guilfoyle and her network employer allegedly took significant steps to silence the accuser, according to a new report.
In 2018, the year in which Guilfoyle departed Fox News, her former assistant reportedly alleged in a 42-page draft complaint that the outgoing network host had "subjected her frequently to degrading, abusive and sexually inappropriate behavior."

Fox News reportedly hired the accuser, a woman, out of college in 2015 to work as an assistant for Guilfoyle and Eric Bolling, another former Fox News host who was fired amid allegations of sexual harassment. The New Yorker's Jane Mayer broke the story on Thursday, as told to her by "a dozen well-informed sources familiar with" the complaints.

The draft complaint alleged that Guilfoyle often spoke in inappropriate detail about her sex life and shared photographs of the genitalia of her sexual partners, according to Meyers sources. The document also reportedly alleged that Guilfoyle once demanded a thigh massage, as well as exposed herself and asked her former assistant to critique her naked body.

The draft complaint also alleged that Guilfoyle required her former assistant to spend nights at her apartment, plus share rooms on business trips. The former Fox News host urged her former assistant to have sex with powerful men and once told her to "submit to a Fox employee's demands for sexual favors," the draft complaint reportedly alleged.

Sources told The New Yorker that Guilfoyle had tried to buy the assistant's silence, allegedly offering to pay her if she lied to lawyers involved in investigations of impropriety at the network. Guilfoyle also allegedly inveigled her with a private-plane trip to Rome, a cut of future speaking fees and a chance to report for the network. The assistant reportedly claimed that Guilfoyle had personally mentioned $1 million, and "two well-informed sources" told the New Yorker that Fox News had agreed to pay the woman more than $4 million in order to head off a trial.

Donald Trump is a very credibly accused sexual molester. We somehow forget that. Not all of us, but our media and our wider culture. And in case anyone doubts the word of more than a dozen women, he bragged about it on audio tape. Bragged about it:

Trump: "Yeah that's her with the gold. I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful... I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything."

Bush: "Whatever you want."

Trump: "Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."

These are not the words of a healthy adult. These are the words of a sexual predator. An abuser. A man 63 million Americans voted to make president. And we should not forget it. Not for one moment. And we should not allow the media to forget it. Not for one moment.

The Republican Party and every Republican senator and every Republican member of the House of Representatives owns Donald Trump. They own a man who brags about abusing women. Brags. They support him, they support his agenda, they violate long-established political norms, they support his subservience to a foreign despot, and they feign disgust at his abusive behavior toward women while doing exactly nothing. Their concerns and shaking of heads mean nothing. They own him.

It's no coincidence that Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh to a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court. It's not just Kavanaugh's extreme political ideology, and it's not just his expansive view on executive power that seems to validate Trump's authoritarian aspirations. Kavanaugh is emblematic of an entire partriarchal culture of privilege, unaccountability, marginalization, and abuse of demographic minorities, and structural and ideological misogyny. And the Republican Party supports him just as they support the man who appointed him. This is the Republican Party.

At least nineteen women have accused Donald Trump of sexual abuse. Nineteen. Were he the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, he would have been fired. The #MeToo movement was partially inspired by Trump, but diffuse, decentralized, unorganized, and always profoundly personal, it has united millions of people of all genders finally to hold accountable even powerful, famous, wealthy, and seemingly culturally iconic men. Such men do now have to think twice about their behavior, even if the twisted inspiration for that behavior still lies latent in many of them. But now they can choke on it. If they act on it, they likely will be destroyed. And it enrages them.

Those who defend Trump, those who defend Kavanaugh, those who make excuses for despicable behavior can't fathom that sexual abuse no longer will be tolerated. That is why the Republicans dig in. That is why Trump stands by his man. That is why Kavanaugh and his defenders cast him as the victim. Because sexual abuse was supposed to be okay, particularly when it is directed at women. Trump got away with it, so why shouldn't Kavanaugh? Why shouldn't all men who abuse women?

And then we have the current leader o

Defending rapists and maligning the victims of rape seems to be standard operating procedure for the Republican Party these days.

I agree. Defending rapists and maligning the victims of rape seems to be standard operating procedure for the Republican Party these days.

A pedophile's best friend is a Trump Republican

Of all the lurid nonsense circulating among conspiracy-addled Republicans, none of their theories is viler than the libel of child sexual abuse that began under the rubric of "Pizzagate" and became the basis of the cult ideology of QAnon. So successful was the smear campaign begun by followers of Donald Trump that millions of deranged people now believe those gothic horror tales targeting the likes of Hillary Clinton, Chrissy Teigen, and Tom Hanks, with the connivance of Republican politicians in search of Jewish space lasers.
Then there's real life, in which actual, detestable pedophiles and other sex offenders can depend on their reliable defender Kenneth W. Starr to shield them from the punishment they deserve. Yes, it's that Ken Starr, the Savanarola of sexual propriety, who is the pedophiles' best friend.

What we have learned in recent days about the sanctimonious Starr, from his alleged sexual infidelities to his zealous defense of the late Jeffrey Epstein, not only strips away his pious pretensions as sheer hypocrisies but also raises serious questions about his conduct that must still be answered.

A former public relations executive named Judi Hershman opened the latest inquest into Starr's iniquities on July 13 when she published an essay on Medium titled "Ken Starr, Brett Kavanaugh, Jeffrey Epstein and Me" that detailed, among many other things, her own illicit affair with the former independent counsel. Her account of an episode with the borderline Kavanaugh and his uncontrollable temper when they both worked for Starr on the Clinton prosecution, as well as her disillusionment with the misogynistic Starr, is worth reading. Yes, that Ken Starr, who, she says, took her hand and "placed it on his crotch."
Hershman recalls Starr's attempt in 2010 to deceive her into "counseling" Epstein, whom he whitewashed as "a very wealthy, very smart businessman who got himself into trouble for getting involved with a couple of underage girls who lied about their ages." He explained that "everyone deserves representation" and that the very smart businessman had "promised to keep it above 18 from now on." By then Epstein had raped scores of underage girls, and thereafter continued to do so.

Hershman writes that at the time, it didn't occur to her that Starr himself would be lying about Epstein, or that he might have been involved in executing the "secret and egregious sweetheart deal" that allowed the very smart businessman to evade justice for so many years.

But according to a new book by Miami Herald reporter Julie K. Brown, who first blew the lid off that deal, Starr was zealously committed to the Epstein defense. Her earlier reporting led to the dismissal of Alex Azar, the U.S. Attorney in Florida who signed off on that agreement, from former President Donald Trump's cabinet.

Donald Trump is attempting to use lawyers to silence a woman that he raped in a New York department store in the mid-1990s.

E. Jean Carroll leveled the charges of rape against Trump and Trump denied the claims, saying Carroll "wasn't his type" and that she fabricated the allegation to boost sales of her book. Carroll sued Trump for defamation.

If Trump were innocent, he could prove his innocence by providing a DNA sample to match against the DNA of Carroll's rapist, however, Trump refuses to do so and instead is using lawyers to try and get an indefinite stay so that Carroll can never have her day in court.

a lot of people questioned why she kept the clothing that she claims she was raped in

So, after the disturbing and extremely credible allegation that Brett Kavanaugh attempted to rape Christine Blasey Ford at a party when she was 15 years old, Republicans have come out of the woodwork, attempting to defend his behavior.

Everything from “boys will be boys” to “that was a long time ago” to “he was pig-drunk at the time” to “attempted rape isn’t actually a crime” has been offered up as a means of defending Kavanaugh’s sexual assault of a 15 year old girl.

It says a lot that so many Republicans are willing to defend Kavanaugh’s sexual assault against Christine Blasey Ford. The Republicans are so ready, willing and able to defend rapists, it’s almost like they’re the party of rapists and sexual predators.

Almost?

Last year, a Republican legislator from New Hampshire, named Robert Fisher was unmasked as an architect of an extremely misogynistic website where women are basically treated as the enemy of men, and it discusses strategies for fighting against women and against women’s rights.

In addition to being anti-woman, the website is also pro-rape. In one of the more infamous posts written by Fisher, he considered rape from the rapist’s perspective.

“I’m going to say it. Rape isn’t an absolute bad,” Fisher wrote, “Because the rapist I think probably likes it a lot. I think he’d say it’s quite good, really.”

And Robert Fisher isn’t alone. Republicans taking the side of the rapists seems to be pretty much the norm these days.

On 19 August 2012, U.S. Representative Todd Akin of Missouri, a Republican who was challenging incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill for her seat in the U.S. Senate, was interviewed by St. Louis television station KTVI. During that interview, Akin was asked whether he believed abortion was justified in cases of rape, and he responded by asserting that “legitimate rapes” rarely resulted in pregnancy:

“It seems to be, first of all, from what I understand from doctors, it’s really rare. If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut the whole thing down.”

Two years later, while appearing in another television interview with MSNBC to promote his new book Firing Back, Akin asserted that “legitimate rape” was a law enforcement term and that his original remark had been “intentionally misunderstood”.

Funny thing is, there isn’t a law enforcement official anywhere in this country who is willing to back up Akin on his claim that “legitimate rape” is a law enforcement term. The phrase “legitimate rape” isn’t listed in any law enforcement document anywhere in this country. It’s like Akin just made the term up, in an attempt to malign women, and make them seem like they’re willing participants in sexual assaults.

And then we have Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association. Bryan Fischer is a radio host with millions of listeners. Republican candidates chronically seek Fischer’s endorsement as his radio show can influence millions of Republican votes. Fischer is very popular amongst Republican voters nowadays.

Fischer; of course; was a very strong supporter of Todd Akin and Todd Akin’s comments on rape.

“What Todd Akin is talking about”, Bryan Fischer said in public agreement with Todd Akin, “Is when you’ve got a real, genuine rape. A case of forcible rape, a case of assault, where a woman has been violated against her will through the use of physical force where it is physically traumatic for her, under those circumstances, the woman’s body — because of the trauma that has been inflicted on her — it may interfere with the normal function processes of her body that lead to conception and pregnancy.”

And then there’s Lawrence Lockman, a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives, who asked, “If a woman has (the right to an abortion), why shouldn’t a man be free to use his superior strength to force himself on a woman?”

He even had the balls to refer to rape, as a man exercising his “pursuit of sexual freedom”.

Right-wing media figures like Fox News' Andrea Tantaros have a habit of attacking efforts to address sexual assault as proof of a "war" on men on boys, but many institutions actually favor alleged perpetrators when investigating the crimes.

And back in 2014, when the Obama White House released a report addressing campus sexual assault, the right-wing media rushed to try to discredit findings that one in five women experienced attempted or completed sexual assault while in college. In the time since the right-wing media have continuously questioned sexual assault statistics, with right-wing media figures like Rush Limbaugh going as far as to go on record about campus sexual assault to claim that "it's not happening" at all."

Andrea Tantaros of Fox news Channel seems to believe that frat boys who rape college girls have little choice in the matter and should not be blamed when they rape college girls. In defense of frat boys who rape college girls, Andrea Tantaros says, “These girls show up at these fraternity houses. The guys, what are they supposed to do? Lock them out? ‘Hey, how are you?’ They have a couple more beers, the girl passes out.”

What are they supposed to do?

How about NOT raping the girl? That’s the first answer that pops into my head. Apparently, the idea of NOT RAPING never occurred to Andrea Tantaros.

Andrea Tantaros also attacked MSNBC for daring to spend about an hour of broadcast time, covering the Senate military sexual assault hearings back in 2013, saying that saying “what they consider to be priorities” is “unbelievable.”

She also attacked President Barack Obama for speaking out against sexual assaults in the U.S. military, saying, “That same [Memorial Day] weekend, he talked about military rape. What a smack in the face of the men and the women have served us with dignity and gave the ultimate sacrifice. … I mean, it’s the way they prioritize these things. It’s unbelievable.”

The Pentagon estimates that 26,000 cases of sexual assault occurred in the military in 2012 alone, but apparently, tens of thousands of sexual assaults are nothing to be outraged about. What Tantaros thinks should inspire outrage is if we TALK about sexual assaults or attempt to DO SOMETHING about stopping them!!

Ann Coulter is just as bad, claiming that “there is no campus rape problem” and that unless a victim gets “hit on the head with a brick,” it isn’t a legitimate rape.

And then we have the current leader of the Republican Party on tape, bragging about how he can sexually assault women and get away with it, because he’s rich and famous. If he meets an attractive woman who’s married and not willing to have sex with him, that’s no problem. According to Donald Trump, he can just grab them by their genitals. There’s no guilt and no consequences. Trump indicates that he perpetrates sexual assaults like this all the time.

Defending rapists and maligning the victims of rape seems to be standard operating procedure for the Republican Party these days.

Hey dumb cunt, NOT A SINGLE ALLEGATION THAT THE FRAUD KNOWN AS “bullshitting blaisy ford” whose family are CIA operatives, alleged, could be corroborated, NOT A SINGLE FUCKING ONE YOU FAKE NEWS DIPSHIT! Moreover, many of her statements have been proven to be lies or simply inaccurate!

Douch yourself for fucking once, skank!

That simply isn't true. I know better than to try to set the record straight with you, but please just be aware that you're not fooling anyone who doesn't, like yourself, desperately want to be fooled.

So you throw out bombastic allegations and can’t back them
up with anything other than, “cuz I posted so!” Geez, sounds so similar to another factually empty poster on this board that I’ve blocked cuz he’s like YOU! Stupid and w/o any sense or logical, rational, or scientific knowledge whatsoever!

Feel free to enlighten us with links to sources that prove/corroborate a single allegation of that whore!

If you mean Ford, what could there be? Things that happened to her in high school did not make the newspapers. It's all a contest between her credibility and Kavanaugh's -- and on that point, no reasonable person would hesitate a moment to believe her over him.

If you want to defend Kavanaugh, argue that things he did as a teenager are irrelevant now -- that would be a defensible position; his innocence is not.

So you throw out bombastic allegations and can’t back them
up with anything other than, “cuz I posted so!”

Oh, I could provide cites. But we all know you would just respond with more venom and nothing else. That's what I meant about not being able to enlighten you. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
