Jason Mohan sat quietly in the corner of the condo that belonged to Detective Denise Williams and her wife Angela with his hand folded together in front of him. His eyes moved nice and slowly along the mantel of the fireplace showing a number of artifacts that gave a nice clue into this detective's life. A wedding photo of her and her wife both in wedding dresses at the alter sitting in a gold frame set predominately in the middle of the mantle. Along one side was a police citation for Denise for her work she had done to shut down the Mohan crime ring... his crime ring. A golden medal attached to a small blue leather cord set delicately in place before the citation. As he moved further to one side of the mantle Denise' was another picture of her and Angela standing at a platform while Denise receive her Cop of the Year citation as well... ocne again due in part to the work she put into putting him behind bars. The certificate placed securely just above the mantle on the wall.
His eyes shifted to the other side of the mantle to see an equal display of honors and awards for her wife, who was one of the corporate premiere lawyers in the city. She had a couple of awards on the mantle as well for her own equally successfully endeavors in her own profession as a corporate lawyer. He smiled and wondered what her corporate partners would think if they knew where Angela was now.
It had been part of his master plan to destroy the one detective who had caused him so much pain and humiliation back when she was on the hunt for him and his human trafficking organization. Sure, he smuggled whores into the country and used them as corner hookers, strippers, and escorts with an equally large army of pimps in charge of them. Over 6 months ago, thanks to Denise's efforts, she had not only busted most of his pimps, but managed to get enough evidence to have him removed too.
Which is why it was such a surprise to him when... 5 months after being arrested and put into solitaire, did the Warden himself along with Detective Williams herself showed up at his cell and informed him he was being released and his case thrown out. He was officially released from prison last week with all charges dropped. The Warden looked to want to chew nails and the detective... something seemed... off. she wasn't aggressive and confident when they left the prison. He remembered her handing him a phone after they got into her patrol car and a call coming in. A call from his boss Victor Antonio... He remembered listening to that phone call and what his boss had told him and how his eyes had slowly shifted over to the detective in the driver seat who looked about ready to crawl under the seat.
Now... he sat and waited in Denise's home for her to return. He was going to make her pay for all the trouble she had caused him... oh she was going to pay and to make sure she remained compliant, his boss Victor down in Brazil... kept her wife on ice for them both to enjoy.
