Well I was assuming the five minutes would be stretched out over several days.

A little long but possible S F.
*the air tingled and moved just before she appeared on her rafter to look down on whoever may be about. *
Good Morning!
Colder than a witch's---*cough* no offense to witches. I was one for a very long time. Moved on. We're in the middle of a ground blizzard warning. The winds are suppose to kick up and with it, the snow. Haven't seen that yet. I'm glad I have a day off before my working weekend.
CG... some complicating news to share with you and Kama. I just got a letter back from my doctor. Looks like my left knee is going to need shots and possibly I'm facing a knee joint replacement. Can't afford to take time off from work so I'm going to see my new knee doc in two weeks for assessment and I'm going to explain the situation to him. Hopefully he can come up with an alternative for me. I'm hoping they can brace it so between the brace and the shots I'll be okay for some time. Hopefully, it'll buy Dryfter some time to secure a better job that'll work for us and allow for my operation, months ahead. I just plain wore out my knee. I'm not looking forward to any of this. However, I'll face it and deal with it as much as my situation will allow.
Now, how is everyone else?

Knees are definitely not made to last as long as humans do. I hope the doctor can figure something out that works for you. Good luck.

Knee surgery is never easy to deal with and is only ever undertaken as a last resort. Your surgeon / specialist will advise you on what to do to help with your symptoms. If it is decided surgery is the only viable option you’ll be assigned a specialist nurse who’ll take you through everything. It’s a long journey but you should be fine afterwards.
Xena conquered the staff at the Embassy yesterday and was the star of the show. We plan to take her to Texas in the summer. We want her to feel she’s a citizen of two great nations.
... G G ever the nurse evaluating the injured and determining the best course of action. You wear your heart on your sleeve and as always your compassion is front and center.

Aye, to tomorrow for every day brings the hope of better things.
What are we to do with the beautiful women of the Inn Sir? I feel they are more than a match for the men off the Inn these days.
Is it great minds or weak minds that come up with the same quotes Kama? Hell I don't know...…..another drink?
On a different note the government is open for another three weeks so I can get some back pay. My question is in three weeks will we have to go through this idiocy again.
Ah well nothing is to good for pour Vets and it appears that that is what the politician think when it comes to Coast Guard Vets. Three wars, two military ops, and drug interdictions. I same we didn't serve.
I wouldn't be surprised if it closes again. This has to be the longest two years in the history of politics.
I am not much good at kicking, but I can give a great dirty look, if that helps any.
Today has been a very emotional one as I stood in silence to remember the nearly 12 Million people, half of them Jews, who died in the Holocaust.
