US warplanes chase off Russian jets in Syria

Two U.S. warplanes in Syria were forced to divert from supporting ground operations against the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) on Thursday to intercept Russian jets that crossed into U.S. coalition airspace.

The U.S. F-22 stealth fighters even fired warning flares at the Russian Su-25 close-air support jets. During the incident, one of the U.S. warplanes also was forced to perform a risky maneuver to avoid a mid-air collision with one of the Su-25s. The dangerous standoff reportedly lasted around 40 minutes and concluded after one of the F-22s shadowed one of the Russian planes.

Another day, another deliberate unsafe intercept by a Russian jet over international airspace. First, the short video:

And now the story. During the 25-minute intercept, the Navy said the Russian SU-27 sped directly past the front of the aircraft. The Russian jet flew past it a second time, applying its afterburner while conducting a banking turn away. Passengers reported turbulence during the first pass and vibrations from the second.

Eric Pahon, a Pentagon spokesman said that what made the intercept was unsafe was that “they didn’t establish radio contact, they came really really close to our aircraft.”

Despite the most recent event, the con artist has refused to say one word about this to either his handler, Putin, or the Russian military in general. Silence is acceptance.

Trump has chronically insulted our NATO allies, however, he will never say anything bad about Putin. Hell! Putin when Putin expelled dozens of diplomats from Russia, Trump THANKED Putin!!

Our mission in Syria was to defeat ISIS and give tech, logistical and indirect fire support to include tactical air to ground support to the Kurds and freedom fighters. The U.S. forces in Syria also killed over 400 Russian mercenaries and Syrian regulars that amassed across the river near the Conoco outpost. That happened because the rules of engagement were changed, thanks to president Trump.

We have special ops in the ukraine training soldiers in conventional, asymmetrical warfare tactics along with arming them with anti tank weapons ( javelin systems ) and other type of weapons. Obama was the president who wouldn't supply weapons for fear of losing them to enemy forces.

We don't need to push each other to the Brink. Putin can't beat us conventionally and he knows that, his only alternative if things get hot would be a pre-emptive nuclear strike. We've stood our ground in Syria, the Ukraine and are putting anti missile defense systems in poland along with 4000 U.S. troops as well as prepositioning heavy equipment ( M-1s, bradleys and other assorted equipment ). This is driving Trump's handler insane. Trump is smiling to his face and slapping the shit out of him behind the scenes.
