Problem with teenage sex getting rejected

I have written a story about someone becoming a cuckold. The story is fictional but is relating to my real life.

The story got rejected because it has a description in it where two male teenagers the age of 14 and 15 have oral sex. It is just a small part of a larger story and it is not dwelled on for too long.

I understand that the story guidelines stipulate that underage sex is not permitted. I respect the guidelines and agree that sexual acts of adults on people underage should not be a part of literotica.

However, we all know that teenagers have sex before they are 18. It is also not illegal for underage teenagers to have sex with each other. I do not have moral issues with the act described in my story. Both are not 18 yet, the sex is consensual.

My problem is that the story would not make too much sense if I change it that both young men are already 18. The narrator is envious that he is not getting sex when his peers do. He gives blowjobs to a friend who is lucky with the girls. Now that friend would not look very successful if he only started to have sex at age 18. The real life person the character is referring to started having sex with 16 in the 1990s.

Entirely leaving out the teenage blowjob scene would pretty much ruin the story which culminates with the friend having sex with the narrator's wife when they are in their late 30s.

How could I get around this issue? I don't want to violate the guidelines. My idea so far is to just blurr the age and just say that they were still living with their parents or still in school. Would that be ok? Or do I have to delete the story altogether?

thanks for any help!

Quite simple, you broke the rules and it will get rejected. Just because it is a known thing that happens in real life, doesnā€™t mean it will get published here. The rule is no sex under 18. That includes an under 18 being within sight or sound of sex happening, whether accidentally or not.

How could I get around this issue?
You cannot get around the issue. What you've written is in clear violation of the rules.

My idea so far is to just blurr the age and just say that they were still living with their parents or still in school. Would that be ok?
No. Although there have been cases where such a story has managed to get published, they often get reported and removed further down the line. Literotica makes it very clear that if you do not vividly spell out the age of the characters, you have to show that they are adults. Saying, for example, that they're still in high school would be a huge red flag and likely not get your story posted. You have to remove the scene from your story, or make them very clearly 18+. There's ways to make them late bloomers without making the characters underage or ruin the realism.

If you understand and respect the guidelines, why are you here trying to get around them?

Do you not understand that this type of "they're both underage and that's not illegal" story line is still feeding those people that I can't even mention? šŸ˜

thank you very much for the prompt reply. I will have to think of something.

Sorry if I have upset you. "Those people that you can't even mention" were not on my mind at all. I guess that is something I should consider.

What I meant when I wrote I do respect the guidelines is that I agree with them to the largest degree and am willing to adhere to them even if I don't agree in that particular case. Me wanting to get around them is just trying to fulfill the rules without changing my story much. Now I have learned how strict that rule is, I will stick to it.

Without knowing your story, reframe it this way...

Friend is well established as good with the ladies. One evening when he and the main character are say 19, they are somewhere fairly remote together e.g. camping holiday, friend has girl in tow but they have an argument and she splits. Friend is horny and insists MC give him a BJ possibly referring to it as something they've done before, but unspecific as to when.

That's probably as close as you're going to get on this particular site. Alternatively reseach other sites which will publish stories involving 16 yos.

You just need to be creative and word it in a way that people understand that relationship became closer at a younger age. Just don't go into specifics.

Respectfully, I think that the premise that making them 18+ somehow makes the story unworkable doesn't really hold up. As others have said you can treat them as late bloomers. Or you can have them both be 18+ and say that the one guy is very successful with the girls without having to indicate when that started. To the extent that the other character is unsuccessful with the girls at the age of 18+ doesn't that just reinforce the profile you are attempting to establish?

I have written a few stories where being in high school is part of the narrative. It is easy enough to place their birthday in the last semester of senior year.

I am not a big fan of rules but in this case I think that it is more than just a matter of abiding by them to get your story published. This particular rule has a valid and important purpose.

I think it's time for you to write another story. We can all remember summer camp fondly and after school hijinks but we can't be real about it on a story site which explicitly rejects descriptions of those halcyon times. In much of the western world the age of consent is 16 or less - France 15, Portugal 14, Paraguay 13. However, you're bound by US rules - a jurisdiction with ages of consent varying among states. Literotica, quite sensibly chooses the oldest age of consent so as not to be drawn into law enforcement issues. Time to rise above the restriction and bring more of your creative juices to . . . uh . . .bear.

I found a way to make the characters 18 at the crucial point without ruining the story. I think it is kosher now.

Thanks for the replies.

one way i would rephrase this would be, having them both as 18\19 years of age and have them remember like this.

18 year old says "do you remember that time about 4 to 5 years in this bedroom?"

make it a vague remembrance without any actual details, it might help you.

We need to remember these rules are to protect us as well as the site. Under 18yo sex is illegal plain and simple.

I have talked about teens on here, but I always say, this teen or that teen was just out of HS. So, you can figure they are 18 just graduating HS. I really don't see why someone would have to go any younger with a character.

No, it isn't. We can go into a lot of detail with many examples, including all the places in the US where 16 or so can get married.

It isn't even fully taboo in mainstream media or films like Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Porkys and all sorts of others would never have been in theaters. And one of the most 'scandalous' that might not even get made today ... Summer of '42.

But this is Lit and the Lit rule is no under 18 on Lit anywhere. THAT is the rule we have to abide by here regardless of laws in the real world.

The rule in most states is 18yo as legal age. I have heard of guy's 17yo having sex with 15, 16 yo's and the guy went to jail for a few months. EVEN! THOUGH! they were both underage. It is just this sites rule because in most cases you have to be 18. You are 100% jaF0, this is their rules. I don't think they want child porn on here, plain and simple.

I had similar issues. I wasn't able to even IMPLY underaged sex, so I ended up having to toss an entire story as it wouldn't have made sense without it. I even had a story get reject because the mods saw it as "playing doctor", and suspected there MIGHT be underaged people in the story. I saw a first hand account of teenage sex slip past the mods, but usually they are pretty strict about it. And it's not even about laws, because they make movies portraying underaged sex and pedophilia, and Nabakov literally wrote a book about a pedophile that became very popular. A lot of people can't grasp the concept that laws only apply to the real world, not fiction. This issue has come up multiple times, but at the end of the day it's THEIR website, THEIR rules. If that's territory they don't want to venture into, that's their right. I'm sure there are other websites that are less strict.

It's nothing to do with legal ages and everything to do with Lit policy.

Your problem is wanting to describe a sexual activity that you've stated is under age. If you write your story so all sexual activity (that includes thinking about sex or bodies!) is definitely over age, then a totally non-erotic mention of something having happened x years earlier is often OK, but not if it's in the least bit detailed.

If you can't change your 'blowjob scene' to a 'blowjob sentence' then no, your story won't be suitable for Lit. Other websites exist.
