Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

OMG!!!!

You tube suggested this.... I haven't heard it in years... I'll bet the last time I heard this song, I was performing it on stage (that's been quite a while).

The Rivieras - California Sun

Birthday wishes to Lou Gramm, born this day, May 2, 1950. Best known as the original vocalist for Foreigner, he's had a few hits of his own, this is probably the best known:

Lou Gramm - Midnight Blue

I learned this song for the garage band I was when this came out. The singer was a Lou Gramm fanatic. 🤣

Did the singer sound anything like Lou Gramm?
...at the time, I thought so. He had the same range. 🥰

I haven't seen him in decades. I hope he kept going. He was much more mature then I was and I think if we met up today, we'd be great friends.

Birthday wishes to Mr. Bob Seger, born this day, May 6, 1945, 79 years young. He's got quite the extensive catalog of albums so choosing one is certainly difficult, but this one seems to fit into the theme of the thread!

Bob Seger - Old Time Rock n Roll
