for the flowers prompt, the first one that came to mind was The Offspring's "Gone Away". Black roses and Hail Marys, can't bring back, what's taken from me. I love Ixnay on the Hombre, it was probably the best part about 7th grade. THe song had been out for awhile, but I was hearing it a lot when my cousin passed from cancer at 29 just before the end of the school year. For some reason that I can't remember, I tied the song to her passing and it just stuck.

For the numbers prompt, I originally thought White Zombie "Thunderkiss '65"

I could have gone with it and gotten the bonus point since the bassist was female, but I figured I could do better and find an all female, or at least a multiple female group. I still have a couple bands in mind.
