Lets ''Hear'' it.

Love this idea!

thinks

All I seem to have are children's books...will go searching for something more suitable because...that'd be weird!

I can totally picture you reading Dr. Seuss.

Actually.... just for fun, I might read Seuss.

Ooo, can I pick what you both read?

:D

*skeptical look* I'm unsure if I should trust you...

But, what the hell. Whatcha got, Brains?

Because there's no way that would end badly, at all.

grins

Although, last time you picked for me, it was tongue twisters! Which, I'll admit, was pretty funny.

Did he make you hold your tongue and say 'Pirate ship?'

chuckles

He made me say these!

What! Why do you both act like I would make you read something terrible?

Because there is a high chance you would...?

grins, then winks

Not saying I wouldn't read it, of course.

He acts like we don't know him or something.

Really? Like you wouldn't torture us with awful things just for your amusement?

The fact that I managed to complete this without laughing hysterically is just... amazing to me.

Random Book.

Brownie points to whoever can name that book.

Brownie points to me - gotta love Dr Seuss (Hop on Pop, one of his possibly lesser known works but still full of life lessons....)

Hop on Pop is one of the first books I ever read. I love it!

Of course, I haven't read it in forever and I completely forgot that it is full of tongue twisters! Especially when you try to read it out loud fast.

Brownie points to you!!

Brilliant stuff! :rose:

I'm working a Dr Seuss story clip myself but it's rather long...

grins

...and I feel it sounds terribly British too!

Essie, that's adorable! Thank you!

Brit, I wouldn't expect anything less that terribly British from you! It'll sound wonderful, I just know it!

And, everyone else, it's your turn! You've been challenged!

This is my favorite Dr. Seuss book! :) Love this!!

I've been feeling cruddy, but I recorded one of our favorites at bedtime, tonight. With bonus commentary from my son (can you guess what his favorite word is, lately?):

Enjoy!

That was absolutely adorable. He's a smart little fella. But that's no surprise considering his progenitor. ;)
