Istanbul Holiday Advice

Good afternoon good folk.

I am going on a last minute trip over to Istanbul with friends next week and wondered if anyone had advice for the area? As I know next to nothing!!

I'll be the one single fella with a couple of couples and will want to both give them space and hopefully enjoy the local area (and more hopefully some of the locals)

Any advice/suggestipns/recommendations will be appreciated.
