Yes, I passed the blood test. Everything is nominal. Whew.

We've already done the orthopods, oncologists, endocrinologists -- next up are cardiologists, urologists, neurogists, and maybe a shaman or three. All those specialists - should we feel special?

Meanwhile, my heart was fibrillating most of yesterday but is back to normal today. Creative writing is difficult when O2 isn't pumped brainward. Hypoxia! I only have about enough cognition left to change guitar-banjo-lute-mandolin strings. It doesn't take much intelligence to sneak up on a tuning peg.

I've had professors think that their class is the most important before, even assign workloads heavier than others, but this damned Extension prof takes the cake. She even had the gall to admit she was putting in an excessive load then shrug her shoulders at it. Wouldn't mind so much if there was a point to it but most of it is fucking busywork.

Yeah such is life these days. Making the best of it though, spent last night out camping in our favorite state park and then hit a trail alongside some really good waterfalls. Now just chilling out and relaxing a twisted ankle (dog pulled on the leash at the wrong time, foot went into a hole in the stream.)

The work over the weekend? No, though it seems to be the trend these days. I know a lot of folks who check work e-mails and phone calls during their vacations.
