Three Chimneys

(That is the name of a public house near Sissinghurst in Kent, UK. During the Napoleonic wars French prisoners of war were allowed to go for walks in the countryside if they gave their word of honour to return. 'Trois Cheminées' was a junction of three roads and was one limit of the area the prisoners were allowed to walk. The public house was named after the jailers' version of the French expression.)
