I just had 4 helicopter gunships fly over at high speed and low altitude, east to west. I'm used to seeing Blackhawks, C130s, Chinooks and a few others fly over me, but I have NEVER seen this.

I have. If there's a military base in your state I guarantee you it happens all the time. You just haven't noticed before.

At my parents house all through the seventies and even into the eighties Helicopter gunships, mostly Huey's would fly over sideways just above tree top level with the fifties hung out and maned.

For awhile we had a problem with the fighter jets breaking the sound barrier at low attitude over our house!

and the whole house would shake and the windows would rattle!

Talk about a wake up call on an early Sunday morning!
