Can't email any longer

I am having trouble emailing other authors who read my stories or follow me. I began posting stories a month or so ago and anytime anyone follows me or comments or favorites a story I wrote, I email them, saying thank you. However, after emailing several authors yesterday, I am now getting a message in RED saying " You cannot email this author" It's happening every time I try to send an email. Is there a site issue? Have I done something wrong? (If so, I didn't realize it and I am sorry). Just trying to figure out what is happening. Thank you for any insight and help you can give me.

The Feedback system allows you one email for each author, then assumes any further conversation will be via email, outside Lit. That is, you go private.

It's also possible the account holder has blocked Feedback, wants to remain incognito.
