Longest and Largest

My longest was about 18" but only 1" in diameter. I know of others significantly larger and longer -- they're nuts.

Largest, so far, is 4 1/4"; but am working on larger.

I will not offer an opinion on how "Safe" this type of activity is. I don't recommend it for 99.9% of the population; in fact, I don't recommend it.

Instructions for Butt Plug Training

There are several reasons to use butt plug training. It is a fairly disciplined activity; however, done correctly can be satisfying for both the wearer and master. It provides good stimulation for the wearer and allows a patterned behavior to be formed. It can prepare the wearer for anal intercourse, advanced watersport activities, or anal control. It can be used to help with some discipline activities such as enema retention and allows the master to properly size a butt plug to prevent falling out or leakage. Properly fitted, a butt plug can be worn comfortably for hours, even out in public, giving the wearer the satisfaction of knowing that control has been attained and the master the ability to control. There are several important points to fitting and trying butt plugs. There are male-female differences, not just anatomically.

What is available.

Standard butt plugs are conical with a central bulge and a small pinched area before a grip. Some grips are very small and narrow and some caution is advisable that the plug is not lost deep into the rectum. This is the worst of all possibilities and may require medical or surgical removal with some attendant damage to the rectum and surrounding structures. This is to be avoided. I discourage the use of non standard materials such as bottles because they lack a method for retrieval or removal. There are other butt plugs including ones in the shape of a penis, some with rough edges. These are for the well trained rather than the initiate. For those with watersport training there are plugs with central or radial canals so that an enema can be administered after the plug has been inserted. There are some plugs which can be inflated, so that once inserted, loss prevention can be assured with pressure inflation. These should be used only by experienced masters since over filling can cause tearing of the interior

Insertions

There are many ways to insert butt plugs. First a word about hygiene. It is important to realize that although the ass can be a center for much pleasure and stimulation, it is also a route of elimination. Great care should be taken with females not to cross contaminate the vagina and rectal areas; however, after a good enema prep and cleansing, switching between rectum and vagina can be done. Prior to that, using one hand for each with care taken not to switch or to clean them between insertions is a good idea. By the same token, toys used for the rectum should not directly be inserted into the vagina. With males, some care should be taken that toys or other contaminants do not come in direct contact with the head of the penis. Especially care should be taken if catheters are used that the areas are cleaned before insertion and before removal, with either male or female.

The first insertion described here is for initiates and helps to get into the fun of the act. Later, if desired, other aspects can be added or deleted as the master sees fit. There are several easier positions for insertion including standing bent over, standing bent over with cheeks spread or on knees, chest on pillow. This traditional method, with the ass thrust up in the air and the legs spread apart is probably the easiest for initiates. It also allows for other genital stimulation making the experience more whole. If there is difficulty with collapsing of the legs or bringing the legs together with stimulation, either a standard leg restrainer or simple pillow can be used to hold the legs. Use of a lubricant with initiates helps increase the fun and makes for better fitting initially. Once the optimal holding size has been determined then other methods, without lubricants can be used.

Take a finger, coat it with lubricant, the best I've found is WET and gently wipe around the asshole. Depending on the experience of the person, you may elect to do this for several minutes with spreading motions of the outer ring. You may want, with initiates, to use a glove for the first insertions. Begin to probe with the finger, making small circular motions inside the ass, probing to your right. If you remove the finger and see feces [shit] on it, it may be a good time to use a small cleansing enema. Warm soapsuds work best. A low volume will allow later additional enemas without ruining the effect. Allow retention lying on the left side for about 5-6 minutes with expulsion and good cleaning around the genital area with warm soap and water. With males make sure to clean the testicle folds; with females be sure to wipe from front to back. I don't recommend the use of fleet or dulcolax suppositories, both of which give great testing enemas for advanced use but cause dryness and take too long for this part of the procedure.

Now that your initiate has returned, put him or her back to the original position. Stand the butt plug upright on a towel and apply an amount of WET to the tip. Thrust it gently into the ass but then withdraw it even though it may only easily go in a half inch. Regrease it. Reinsert it. This may need to be repeated 4 - 6 times with liberal use of lubricant. Don't use vaseline since it ruins the butt plug and works poorly as a lubricant. Similarly many lotions and oils do not hold up well. The plug should slide into the ass with no distress up to its widest point at which time there will be some protesting or moving away on the part of the wearer, If necessary restrain the wearer by holding around the legs or inserting a finger into the vagina. Sometimes with women, inserting a finger or two into the vagina and massaging through to the rectum can relax those tissues and make insertion easier. With males, stroking the balls or penis can increase arousal with insertion done between those periods of arousal.

If the plug you have chosen seems to fit well and advancing the size causes unwanted pain or discomfort; stop. There are other positions for plug insertion including supine with legs held aloft, spread or together, and prone with the legs spread but knees flat on the ground. The latter is not particularly satisfying because there is little access to other genital areas. Lying on the side with one knee in front of the other is another position and is good for post enema plug insertions with minimal fluid loss. Plugs can be inserted on a wheel with the wearer upside down or even in vehicles. A favorite is to have the wearer lean over the seat, touching the back seat with the hands and then insert.

Testing the Plug

Well, you say. How do I know if the plug will stay in. How can I test it. What if it plops out at some inopportune time. Will it hold with an enema? Once the wearer has been properly fitted and the largest size which doesn't flop back out obtained, have the wearer stand [if not already standing]. Ask them to try to have a bowel movement [squeeze]. If the plug flies out, go for a larger size. If that does not make the plug come out, ask them to squat. The plug should hold. Some people, particularly females who have had children may be able to hold the plug by squeezing the rectum but otherwise find the plug gradually slips out. Masters may find that the best test of retention is to have the wearer go for a walk. The wearer may find lots of pleasure with the internal pressure and the movement producing great sensations. Another test is to have women squat, insert two fingers into the vagina facing rearward and press against the plug. Without using a lot of force, plugs which are too small but which are being retained by the squeezing of muscles rather than the proper sizing of the plug can be expelled and a proper size plug replaced.

Removing Plugs

Once in, the plugs can be removed by grasping the wider base, asking the wearer to relax and twisting the plug outward in a corkscrew like motion. Pressure against the abdomen, over the pubis [just above the clit or penis] or pressure in the space between the vagina and rectum or testicles and rectum can help release a well implanted plug. Inserting fingers into the vagina and applying force is ok so long as the fingers are well lubricated and the force is not applied just to the wall of the vagina but along a length of the device. There is a possibility of injury if force is used. If there is still trouble, a well lubricated finger can be run around the outer rim of the device until the outer ring of the asshole releases. Remember, if there is an enema inside, there will be NO DELAY between removal of the plug and expulsion. If you elect to remove a plugged enema, best to do so in the area in which elimination is intended.

Plugs are easy, portable fun. They can be used by individuals or groups. Care should be taken to clean a plug before it is inserted into someone else. Usually surface cleaning with soap and water or the use of a cleaning agent helps. WET lubricant has antibacterial and antiviral agents in the lubricant; K-Y does not.

Advanced Techniques

There are some fun, advanced techniques which can be used. The most frequent is to insert a plug dry as punishment; however, that is up to the wearer and master. Enemas are a favorite with butt plug users. After the administration of the enema, the plug is inserted. The wearer can then be sent out into stores or other public areas, plugged but still under control. How long. Well, the length the plug can stay in or hold depends upon the enema and volume. Large volumes or irritants such as soap or soap sticks used adjunctively will cause great irritation and may compel early expulsion. Warm water, moderate volumes or oil retention should be fine. Irritant enemas such as dulcolax or fleet will cause probably early loss of the plug despite large fitting attempts because of the intestinal pressures. Air can successfully be used but should be used with some caution. Blowing 8-10 full times may cause sufficient bloating for effect. The plug can then be placed and hold the air. Again caution should be maintained

Additional techniques can be used with cannulated [plugs with holes in them]. The wearer can be made to take small but increasing volume enemas. The wearer can be hooked up with a hose and the master can blow into the hose as needed without fear of loss of air or content. This can provide for frequent increases in discomfort levels as needed. Soap sticks [small shaped soap pieces] can be inserted into the rectum with or without water and a plug inserted. This causes later cramping and discomfort so that the wearer can be made to be in public areas with later cramping and distress. I have used plugs with glycerine suppositories. With other, more irritant suppositories as with enemas like fleet, it is hard to stop the burning feeling at the insertion point and the strength of contraction sometimes loosens even larger plugs. Glycerine is less irritating than soap sticks and does not require water for an effect. If you have not had experience with suppositories, do not use more than 6-8 adult size or the plug will loosen from all the lubrication provided by the suppositories.

There are some novel ways to use plugs in cars. Although not always the best, sometimes one is in an auto with the need for a plug. Solo, a plug can be inserted by placing the feet on the dash in the passenger seat or having the driver insert the plug while the feet are elevated. This allows for some privacy unless a truck happens by. If the seats are low backed, the wearer can be bent over the seat, knees on spread for reasonable insertion. The car provides a perfect place to use a cannulated plug so that air or water can be instilled [put in] while the bouncing of the vehicle produces additional pressures. The plug, if well fitted will stay secure.

Nighttime use of plugs is another use. Place the plug as usual and then send the wearer off to sleep. It will stay in all night if there has been no enema. Great expulsion effects can be had with glycerine sticks left in overnight or small volume irritant enemas [soap or castile soap].

There are fitted plugs and plugs with vibrators. These seem best used after initial straight plugs have worked. There are g-spot plugs which double as anal plugs and can be used as doubles, one in vagina one in ass with TWO vibrators! A single can be used in the ass only.

Fucking with Butt Plugs

I don't mean messing around with them, I mean intercourse with a butt plug in. This is an exercise for women although there are variations. Has anyone had any experience with the Tristan Taormino line of butt plugs? I have her Tristan ll plug , whose head. is about 2 1/4" in diameter, but has a wide neck (1 5/8"). I had it fall out while I was waiting in line at 7-11 !!!!!. I was wearing a coat as it was during winter, and I was able to push it back in without anyone noticing. I also have a standard medium, 1 5/8" plug (my first). I like the Probe thick lube too. I also enjoy being fucked by my wife's strap on dildo. I looked up your plug and it looks exciting, mine are very plan and simple and been looking for one a little different! My toy store ( expressions ) only has a limited verity so I mite have to buy online which I prefer not too do but if I have too it's my only choice.

We've bought all of our toys and DVD's online and have been very satisfied with both the products and the process. We've used Blowfish, Babeland (they have two stores in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn), and Eden Fantasys. Why do you prefer not to?

I bought 2 toys online and from the photos they looked really nice they had no reviews so I couldnt check to see how they where. And I was just very disappointed one was way to small and the other just didnt live up to the description. So for the most part I go to expressions or there is that place hidden off of pinelawn near the dumps.

To all that are a little more experienced with Butt plugs and other anal toy's. I've been using my toy's now for a few years and enjoyed the feelings I get. Now I tend to be clean before and during the time I do play, and for the most part after too. But in the time after sometimes there is some leaking and some almost accidents. I use the proper lubes and amount, so I know its not that. For the most part I make sure that if and when I want to play it's a weekend thing Friday-Saturday or a short play time in the week.

My question is what do you do to insure that there are no problems after and a day and night after the fun.

I don't do the complete enema thing, only 2 or 3 anal douche rinses 3 hours before play to allow for re absorption of water ( http://www.blowfish.com/catalog/toys/enema.html ) because if your colon and rectum retain a lot of water, it might cause the leaking you describe

When I first started trying my plugs alone at first to see if I like it I had one in and was walking around my house it was my large one. I had to sneeze so didnt think who would that when I did the plug went popping out, hurt like hell too. I just cleaned it up and added some lube and put it right back in.
