Gonna go back and read those first 2 chapters again.

While I love the ability of the written word to give the reader the ability to fill in the detail as they wish. I’m a visual person and being able to put a face and body to your written creation takes this to the next level for me.

Interesting observations you make @PleaseLetMeIm. And you may want also to consider the following, @Ophelia_Coque.

I am also a visual person and yet, I find that the best pictures are word-ones. Word pictures, done well, give depth. They enable readers to see beyond what a camera happened to capture in a fraction of a second.

If you're familiar with Jane Austen, you'll have an idea of what I mean. The dramatisations are marvellous … and yet, there's something missing. Only the original words tell the whole story, in which the characters’ appearance is actually less important than their being. It's all so very subtle …

in case I need to clarify.
I think @Ophelia_Coque is a very descriptive writer and very much enjoyed reading her opening chapters as ‘stand alone’ entities where I was very able to translate her words on the page to pictures in my head. So this is far from a criticism, it was more a wondering of whether the pics can add to the story.

for me yes, but I’m a visual person for consuming porn. However I really don’t think this is needed to enjoy opelia’s erotic writing to the full if that’s not your thing.

I see it as a very optional extra.
