sometimes i'll admit to not turning on a product or two and ask them for their input next time they come in - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Between my coworkers and I... we've turned everything on, and have at least 3 different uses for every toy in the store to counter act anyone who is tired of their collection or wonders what a certain gadget is good for.

normally i get 30% off anything I want to buy, sometimes my bosses give it to me at cost, sometimes they just give us stuff... all in all.. at least my job is mostly fun and enjoyable

I want to say that without the booth customers ... the ratio is 70% female, 30% male.
Booths counted - I'll push men and women to a nearly 50% rate

Women buy more, and bring friends.
Men who come in are usually only buying dvds, hardly ever bring friends, and if they buy a toy the rings and anal male toys aren't as expensive as the female toys are. If they aren't picking up a couple of movies, their wives/girlfriends have sent them in here blind because they are too shy to come in.

if they are outside in the car, I go get them talk to them kindly, hook my arm into theirs, and hold the products they pick out so they aren't embarrassed.

the following week they are in with all their friends with a satisfied grin on their faces.

when couples come in, 8x out of 10... the lady pays by the way. just something we've all noticed over here.

I don't know about them using it - but many come back in minutes after they bought it to tell me it wont go on. Usually they placed the batteries wrong, I show them, they leave. If it is actually busted, we do an even exchange with receipt.
