I would never go unshaved in that area but my husband said he has heard guys say that seeing a womans armpit with hair is like looking at her vagina. Something like the hair being the same...sort of an erotic insight into the real thing I guess?

Unshaven women (and men) is such a turn on for me. And even better is with no added scents. Just their good clean natural scent that I can poke my nose into that lucious hair and take in. Love long hair on both men and women too.


The only hair that I find a turn off is men with long beards. Short and trimmed is okay though.

It's unusual but it's not something that would affect my preference for a woman
 
I blame the one video for Nena's 99 Luftballons for making this enticing to me. Since most women in north america shave it has always seemed kind of exotic.

But on the other hand I find shaving hot too. I like them all. Same with legs, since unshaved are less common, I find them interesting.

My wife's armpits are currently not shaved and it is cute.

Why shouldn't it be attractive? It is a secondary sexual characteristic growing during puberty like pubic hair + would have had sexual function. Many guys, me included, find armpit hair incredibly sexy + erotic. For me a woman not shaving is the sexiest thing she could do to make her body irresistible!

I remember this video + song. Remember Patti Smith had an album cover where she bared a hairy pit. Quite a few famous women have had a hairy "phase" like this including Madonna, Penelope Cruz (really hot with hairy pits), Julia Roberts, Miley Cyrus + many others.

Have always loved a woman's body hair but like you the occasional shaving can be erotic too, but hairy is my favourite!
 
It's important to remember that the 'shaved look' is a minority in the worldwide view. I think it's strongly influenced by what is pushed on TV, movies, fashion, etc. Personally, I like natural. I think it reflects a lot about the personality of the woman (or man)...And I just prefer down to earth people in general. [But, beauty is beauty and comes in many forms...so in that regard it doesn't matter one bit]

I came across a Youtube movie the other week that you might appreciate. Look for Molly Soda shaves hairy armpits. I think she's really cute + her hairy armpits are amazingly hot. I don't know if I would consciously seek it out or fetishize it. But I do actually like it when my wife stops shaving them in winter months. Like playing with it while cuddling. :D

Some great images there. Some are familiar; a few I don't remember seeing. Not the greatest photo of Madonna- she looks too butch there, but so many sublimely sexy hairy pits. Shaved pits are so boring in comparison.
 
I had a sorority sister in college from Germany who shaved neither her legs or armpits.
