Which would make your input into such a story even better. How would a lesbian have a kid (without adoption) but not want a random sperm donor. If she/they opted to be cheap and not go with artificial insemination how might they work it? Interesting concept.

I think they might post an ad of some kind on a dating site. See if any good men actually respond. If they’re cool enough people I might respond. Make a great story to tell people.

The original premise bandied around in prior comments was that LW readers hated women. Stories that did well were about the women being punished unmercifully for their sin of cheating. My premise is that it would work for a lesbian couple as well. Of course the typical cookie cutter idea full of old tropes with just the sexes switched will not work. At least I would not waste my time writing one. I'd need a hook of some sort. Then I'd have to figure how to make the les couple seem legit.
My story Cuckold's Anonymous came from a simple suggestion for revenge: taking a guy's car apart. Not beating him to death along with the cheating wife. It was a bit of a challenge. I did not write it from beginning to end. I wrote it from the middle out. Seems to have worked. I'd need something to make a lesbian story work.

@Gamblnluck ... The story would depend on the kind of cheating. If they are true lesbians, I doubt a man would come between them. If it's another woman, that would work. It could work well. But I don't know what you have in mind. New married neighbor, curious about sex with a woman, starts asking the pair of them questions. It leads to her being more interested in the one that works from home maybe, and she worms her way into seeing her when the other is at work. Then, it goes where it goes.

If I were doing it? I'd do a spin on the old, "her college roommate moved to town, oh no, it turns out my wife was a LUG, they were lovers in college and now she's leaving me!" Except that it would be that the cheating wife claimed she was a gold star lesbian, and she was... except for the guy she shared an apartment with for a couple of years. She was homoflexible instead of straight up lesbian, and the guy was one of the few ones she was ever attracted to. He was too much of a player, though, and she didn't want to deal with the hassle of not being the "perfect" lesbian because of her campus activism.

But now that's she's away from that social pressure, and because she never really entirely got over the guy, and he's moved to town, and she and her wife are having minor problems...

There ya go. You have the basic idea for a good story. And I bet with the right hook and line, it will be a hit. You could even throw in the catfight to keep a few of the degenerates happy (but I would not in LW).

And for those of you who don't understand LW readers at all, I added that last line because you virtually never see the smirking wife even slapped across the face. Not even when the wife sits there and tells him how she found a 'real' man to take care of her needs and will give her the life she deserves. Or she is tired of his lame fucking and she wants excitement and if he does not like it, she will take all his money, turn his kids against him, etc, etc. (standard tropes). Despite what many of you think, violence against the wife is not used. The asshole she is cheating with? Another story.

Fuck, there really is a lot to dig into there. Maybe they've moved to the suburbs, so the jilted partner's dating choices are significantly diminished, since she, unlike her former wife, is a true blue lesbian. Maybe she's bi, instead, and the wife starts off by suggesting a threesome, which disgusts her because of their vows. There's a lot of fun meat on the bone there.

I want to challenge myself by venturing into that dreaded morass at least once. Before I do it, I have some questions.

The story involves an entertainment mogul who used to sleep around with a host of women- some celebrity and some otherwise. Now he’s been rendered involuntary celibate by depression over a divorce, business challenges, and the Covid pandemic. On impulse he reconnects with a childhood crush once the pandemic ends. She’s all grown up now and very beautiful, on vacation alone at the same Lake Tahoe resort as him. He treats her to dinner, they reconnect, she’s a skilled corporate lawyer that can help with his business woes. They also share chuckles over his crush- he said he would marry her, should they stay together, but circumstances separated them- and the fact that he is now an epic Casanova type while she barely remembers knowing him. On impulse, they have a one night affair. He dumps her the next morning when he overhears her telling her actual husband about it by phone call. He didn’t know about her cheating till then.

Are the local trolls going to slam me for this? If so, I will shrug and post in Erotic Couplings or another category instead. Recommendations appreciated.
