i´m a bit uncertain of this, and would like some opinions. I have this idea for a story, (read thread title to get an idea what its about) and have planned how I´d start it and also plan to have it in a first person I format. here's my uncertainty, what would you classify this as? I feel like it could be classified as fantasy. Also I´d go more into, my ideas but it would spoil major parts for potential future readers.

We have a category for this.
Transgender & Crossdressers
Erotic tales of gender bending fun.

Your story may fall into other categories as well, as almost all do, BUT, I recommend you put your story there. The obvious reason is that those who are looking for transgender stories will go there to find it. Put your story before the target audience. There is a tag system in place, for you to add other details about it. Good luck with your story and beginning your Literotica career.

ok thanks for the advice my plan is to make it kinda fantasy adventurer-ish as the main character is as you can tell from my title a traveler but she (I say she though its supposed to be a boy identifying as a girl but still with some boy characteristics) is connected to a Guild/agency that's where she gets all her requests from. because of this twist I wanted to label it as a fantasy as well but realised you can only make one category hence my question cause it made me uncertain where would it fit the most

actually one other question this is mostly about how writing works do I have to write the whole thing in one go or can I separate it into chapters? if anything I could write it somewhere else first and submit it here.

You can do chapters, or submit it all at once.

The trouble with chapters is that once you publish one, you need to keep the subsequent chapters coming pretty regularly, or people will lose interest. My favorite way is to write all the chapters, then publish them once a week or so. But that takes a lot of discipline to keep writing with no feedback!

Another approach is to write a stand-alone chapter that tells an introductory story on its own, and publish that first. Sort of like a pilot episode of a TV show. Then you can write "sequel" chapters that each contain another complete story, whenever you feel like it.

depending on how you write it, it can fall into either trans\cross category and\or the noncon category as well.

this comment can actually work both ways. since she is a traveler, you can have her kidnapped and that would be where noncon comes in. I do agree more with the Trans category tho as the best.

i do write stories on other media and been going on with chapters regularly despite my daily life being busy.when you say stand alone is it like a Prologue? that's how I understand it and if I´m right I´d write that post it then continue with chapter one and so on

the kidnapping part is actually is pretty cool idea would I start with the kidnapping itself or say her waking up somewhere?

have her travelling after accepting a guild ticket,

"As she travels down the road, she sees several tall heavily built men walking towards her. As they pass her by, one reaches with lightning quick movements and grabs her waist as another puts his hands on her mouth to stifle her scream of terror.

After that, she wakes up in a dark room, groggy and in pain."

you can use something like that, with a bit of a back part where she says who she is, what profession, and why she is in a guild vs independent, a little overview of the world. write how she goes into the guild to accept a quest\mission\ticket then shops for items she may need to complete it then next day begins her journey.

got it thanks and that would then work as the prologue then I may mix it up since the idea of female kidnappers kinda turns me on not to say I´m only into lesbian stuff but it is a big deal to me

yea, what i gave ya is guide, use it or change it as you see fit. female kidnappers would be kinda hot. specially if they turn her into a slave of some kind where she has to fight her way back out of it, or however you wanna go with it.

gladiator slave, she wins, she gets a bed and food but she is forced to not only fight, but fuck as well her female captors. shared around. she has to fight for her freedom. be a story i would love to read!
that's pretty good might go with that now I just gotta work on the title was thinking going with what I called this thread starting my first question but its actually too long for a title in here so gotta shorten it somewhat

ok think I came up with a title I like that won´t be too long either decided to call it A prostituted journey maybe not the best but being limited in options and having to shorten my original idea this might not be bad I´ll be writing it in a pages document starting with the prologue tbh not too many stories have those so its interesting to start like that

In other words it's a male to female transsexual who is pre-operation or non-operation - many of them seem to be happy keeping their original genitals. If fact, two or them became porn stars - Joanna Jet and Tara Emory - although I think they're retired now. That's a pretty good plot in itself.

That Joanna person might also be classified as a bi-sexual because she will have sex with both men and women. There's quite a lot of gender-bending in that.
