Alex smiled and felt his stomach growl.

"Sounds like a good idea... you are eating for two now."

Grinning he kisses her again and gently helps her to her feet. Wrapping his arms around her he gives her a big hug and smiles.

"I'm going to be very affectionate. I hope you're ok with that."

Kaila giggled and said" Your always affectionate Alex your my big teddy" she smiled and hugged him back and said " I hope I'm eating for just two Alex twins are common in my family my parents didn't expect both me and Kai"She laughed

"One... two... three... five or ten, we'll love them all."

Grinning like an idiot, Alex slid his arm around her waist and leaned into her.

"I hope that this baby won't be the only one. Would be nice for him or her to have a brother or sister later on."

He left that little idea hanging in the air as he guided her toward the door, opening it for her.

Kaila smiled and smirked at him as he mentioned the baby having a sibling. She laughed said " of course I'd be willing to make more life with you Alex our babies will be beautiful though I'm a bit upset that I'm not married with this child Im still happy about my-no our baby" she grinned and kissed him holding his hand as they walked to his car.

As Alex guided her outside he let his hand slide down to the base of her spine.

"Not married yet..."

Grinning they walked to his car and he opened the door for her.

"You know I love you. Do you honestly think I wouldn't want to marry you? I would love to be your husband and when you feel like we're at that point, I swear I will propose my love."

He watched her settle in then walked around and got into the driver's seat. Glancing over at her he smiled then started the car ad pulled out toward the diner.

Kaila blushed and smiled at him as he mentioned marrying her.She would be thrilled to marry Alex but she wanted to take it slowly and she kissed him deeply and said "I'd be honored to be your wife Alex and when the day comes i will make you the happiest man alive"

"Well that will be some day indeed for I'm already extremely happy with you."

He smiled and pulled into the diner then got out and opened her door for her. Offering her his hand he smiled.

"Shall we?"

Caressing her hand gently he escorted her inside and over to an empty booth. As they sat down, he paused to look at her once more and smiled.

"You're beautiful."

Kaila blushed not used to a guy like Alex's affection. It would take her some time to get used to it but she had a feeling she definitely would because Alex had been such an amazing guy all his life even through his parents split he had been positive with her and she was thankful for that.

She smiled and reached over stroking his hand and said "And you are the sexiest and most affectionate man I've ever met. Farrah was stupid to let you go and so was I to let her get to you "she grinned and kissed his cheek.

Blushing some Alex smiled and was about to respond when the waitress walked up to their table.

"Hi there. What can I get you two?"

Alex looked up and grinned.

"You go first hon. I'm not sure if I want the barbecue burger or the bacon cheeseburger."

Kaila ordered starving saying she wanted the Hawaiian burger with seasoned curly fries and a medium neapolitan Shake"she grinned knowing that Alex would be shocked by the amount of food she ate but she had been starving lately and sick so she needed the energy.

Listening to Kaila's order got Alex to thinking.

"You know... that sounds really good. Make it two of those."

The waitress nodded and walked off. As she left, Alex took Kaila's hand and held it gently.

"Kaila.. when was the first time you thought about me... in that way? You tell me yours and I'll tell you mine. I'll even start. It was the night of your 16th birthday. You invited me over and we'd been watching movies all night long. You'd fallen asleep on me and when you rolled over, your face landed right in my crotch. The feel of your face against me and the soft happy sounds you made got me so hard. I was scared that you'd wake up and be mad at me, but you rolled back over and I was able to run to the bathroom to take care of it."

Kaila blushed shocked he'd admitted that. What shocked her more was what she was about to tell him. "Uhh you remember that night at the camp my parents sent us to the summer of ninth grade when those girls pranked me and doused me with jello mix and I ran to your cabin crying and how you helped me wash out my things in the lake and gave me your robe to put on? I was afraid to show my body even if it was just underwear because I wasn't as developed as some of the other girls.but you told me I was beautiful and made me feel good and the next day I got them back. That's when I seriously fell hard. Any other guy that age would've made me do something really stupid and your were so gentle with me "she smiled

Alex smiled.

"I remember. You looked so cute and helpless in the moonlight. I wanted to just hold you and tell you everything was going to be ok."

He grinned and blushed a little.

"You looked just fine K, trust me. Those other girls may have been bigger than you, but you were more beautiful... always were and always will be."

Smiling at her he leaned in and kissed her lips tenderly.

"Awww.. aren't you two so cute. Anniversary?"

Kaila smiled kissing him back her heart skipping a beat at his words and she leaned her forehead against his after the kiss and smiled.

She saw the waitress return saying "Awww...aren't you two so cute.Anniversary?"

Kaila grinned and said"You can call it that along with a reunion celebration and dinner. We're having a baby and were deeply in love with each other... I just don't think I can get any happier"she said

Hearing her say 'we're' having a baby made Alex smile more than he had in a long time.

"I've loved her all my life..."

The waitress snuffled and placed their food on the table.

"Tonight is on me, sweethearts. You two are just so adorable. Have a great meal."

Alex smiled and nodded.

"Thank you."

As the waitress walked away, he turned to K and smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll tip her what the meal would have cost so she won't be out any money. I know how hard it is to be a waitress. I don't want her to run short."

Grinning he picked up his burger and took a bite.

"Mmmm haven't had one of these in a long time."

Kaila took a bite of hers and groaned "neither have I! I don't know how I ever got off of these things "she smirked and stole a fry from his plate like they usually did to one another. She smirked and fed him one of hers smiling.

"Remember when we tried the eat the menu challenge and failed miserably?"she giggled " dad was pissed he paid 100$ for out failure but he was glad to see us so happy. I wonder if our picture is still up there on the wall of shame"she grinned

Alex laughed and fed her another one of his fries.

"I remember that. We both got so sick that night. We'll have to check and see if it's still there before we leave."

He took another bite of his burger and smiled. This was more fun than he'd had in a long time.

"Kaila... have you thought much about what you're going to do once the baby is born? Your apartment is only one bedroom... while mine is two. I know you want to take things slow, and I agree with you, but I was thinking... babies are expensive and I don't know what you're doing for work right now but I know it probably isn't enough to pay for all of your hospital visits and rent and everything else."

He paused and took a drink of his shake.

"If you moved in with me, you could take my second bedroom... until we got to the point of being intimate and sharing mine... but we could then turn it into a nursery later on."

Looking at her, he couldn't see her eyes so he didn't know what she was thinking.

"You don't have to decide right now. I just wanted to put the offer out there so you wouldn't have to worry about money."

Kaila thought about it a moment. As much as she loved her apartment she knew that she needed more space for the baby. Alex lived right across the street so It wouldn't be a big move and they shared the bed plenty of times when she had been afraid at night or he worried she would not mind sharing it now she just needed a few days because she had just settled back in.

She looked at him and smiled wiping the corner of his mouth and smiling" I have been doing reception work it's simple but I'm concerned now that I'm pregnant I'll find something safer. I can move in two weeks or a few days if it's convenient for you to help me. We can share a bed then start the bedroom up to prepare for the baby." The child would look like it was theirs because Nate somewhat resembled Alex which was probably why she was so drawn to his looks.


"Sound ok?" She asked and kissed him.

Kissing her back, Alex felt all of the tension he'd been holding deep inside melt away. She wanted to live with him and share his bed. sure it would be like when they were kids, but still.. having her there at night and being able to hold her would be amazing.

"I'm ready to help you move whenever you want love... and thank you. I was worried and I remember sharing a bed with you. I promise not to pressure you or make a move on you until you're ready for me to."

Smiling at her he took her hand and kissed it.

"In case you were wondering, I'm an accountant. I finished up my bachelor's degree and got my CPA license while you were gone. I don't want to brag or sound like an idiot but I can pay for most of our baby's hospital visits."

He looked around the room and then leaned in to whisper into her ear.

"I should make close to 60,000 this year and I have already paid off my student loans so anything extra I earn can go right into a savings account for the baby."

Kaila smiled and thougnt that would be perfect but she would not let him pay all of the hospital bills alone they were expensive and she was the pregnant one.

She turned her head kissing him and said " I appreciate that and all A but everything we do is half and half. I still have all that money from the family will and I was thinking when were ready to expand maybe we can move in the house. Its paid off and well just have to worry about gas, water, and energy bills really .

We can share a bed there in fact we can move all of our stuff there from both apartments and not have to deal with alot of steps and we can make that huge guest room our bedroom because I don't think I can live in my parents old room"she chuckled softly

As Alex listened to her explain everything, the idea made a lot of sense. It was a very nice big house and they both had so many good memories there. It would be the perfect place to raise their kids.

"You're right. The neighborhood is a safe one, the school system is awesome - you and I are perfect examples of that, your parent's backyard was so nice with plenty of room to play... it's the best option."

Grinning he wrapped his arm around her and nuzzled her neck.

"My girlfriend is so smart..."

Kissing her neck he grins.

"The guest room is pretty big. I stayed in there a few times and it was pretty nice. We can fix it up great for us and oh... your Dad's office would be perfect for a nursery. It had that half bath attached to it and all that natural night."

Sitting back up again he looked at her with happy eyes.

"I think you're right about your parent's room. It would feel weird to sleep in there. We can leave it alone and keep it as it is... or if we needed to, we could use it as a guest room if we ever needed to."

Grabbing a fry he nibbled on it.

"It would make things much easier. The rent we would save on our apartments would be more than enough to pay water, electric, gas and groceries for the two of us and everything else can be put aside to take care of yours and the baby's medical bills."

A thoughtful look crossed his face at the moment.

"Speaking of which. Do you still have health insurance cause if you don't, I can get you added onto mine."

Kaila liked the idea of keeping her parents bedroom and her brothers as is. It would help her feel like a part of them was still there with her. She would lock those two rooms off if he didn't mind. It was an 8 bedroom house so the two extra rooms wouldn't bother anyone.

Her fathers office was another bedroom that he converted into a workspace and she figured she could work from there at one point when she had the baby/s and she could turn the room connected to the guest room into the nursery in case they needed to check the baby at night.

She told him her thoughts hoping he'd be okay with it and shook her head saying she didn't have insurance.

She took a long sip of her milkshake and groaned at the taste it seemed even better to her than before. She ate more fries as well.

"That's a good idea. It would be even better to have him or her close to us."

Smiling as he watched her eat, Alex snickered softly at her little moans of pleasure.

"My sweet Kaila. You're enjoying this so much, it makes me want to take that cooking class they offer downtown, just so I can make you moan everyday."

As he listened to his words, a blush crossed his cheeks and he took a big bite of his burger to try to hide it.

Kaila giggled and said back grinning "if you learned how to make this shake for me I'm pretty sure I'd be the one making you moan A"she giggled and took another long sip of the milkshake.It was just super thick and creamy and the strawberry was amazingly fresh.

She leaned over kissing his cheek and grinned then whispered "and the way things are going Alex...I'm sure we'll have each other moaning in no time especially with all of our pent up sexual tension"

Alex swallowed and grinned.

"Oh I know you'd be moaning love... and you know what, I'm going to learn how to make this just for you."

He nuzzled her cheek and nibbled on her ear before he remembered part of what she had said before. He'd talk to his boss about getting her on his insurance in the morning.

"Once we are ready, you'll be screaming my name."
