A Heartbeat Away From A War We Could Lose

Our allies will be too busy cutting deals with whoever takes us down.
I guess the next time you guys have a 9/11, the rest of us should just let you deal with alone. But all those poor people on planes, guess they be happy at you as they fall out of the sky when the run out of fuel because the allies won't let them land those planes in their countries.

This is sarcasm, just incase there are any doubts. The US allies have already proven this fucking bozo wrong, and will do so again if the US needs it!

The best part is that it will be a Lib behind the remote.
One thing that the Israeli invasion of Gaza has taught us is that you don't even need high-falutin' Predator drones to take out fortified defenses. Gaza bought hundreds of cheap drone-copters from Amazon and equipped each with a small incindiary block of C4 explosive and managed to blind the multi-million dollar sensor arrays that Israel had installed on the Gaza border.

A few well placed C4 shaped charges should take out AJ's Fuhrerbunker Zwei. with little to no efforts.

That we paid for, no doubt.

The gummint isn't recruiting half-wit MAGAts to operate war drones, that's for damn sure.

Here's the thing to know about Kinked a bit:

He's a racist.

Has, in fact, made that clear through the content of his posts, and his support of racist and homophobic policies and politicians.

His opposition to the U.S. entering WW2 in Europe centers on his admiration of Hitler and his policies, rather than any geopolitical or economic reasons.

Seems to be a right wing thing.....always a fight to be had. Either you start it or others will start it for you.

No wonder 45 gutted the state department.
Not completely, he just fired the Iranian agents at the top of the State Department.:D

It's highly unlikely anybody takes us down. Honestly if we're solely talking about defensive wars ad justified the Mexican American war is the last time where we had to go to war instead of just decidine to.
America itself would be one of the most difficult countries to invade militarily from the outside. It's a geographical nightmare for military planners. We can be taken down overseas however because our traditional methods of logistical support for our ground forces can be put at risk a lot easier with present technology than ever before by peer-level actors. That includes deploying them on overseas battlefields in the first place. None of the enemies we've fought in the last 60 years have been peer-level adversaries.

They took lessons from Ukraine. They have used the DJT mini 3 for observation and the mini Pro for grenade drops. Cheap weapons, I've even sponsored a couple.

Yes I know, I'm one of the many in his "goodbye" club....*chuckles* I joined it a long time back.

This is why I brought up a defensive war. We can lose overseas for a lot of reasons. Some of which are that we don't have exit strategies. I would think over the last 70 years we would have learned is that dictators are often replaced by something worse. If keeping deaths to a minimum was a goal maybe taking out Saddam and his upper military wasn't a plan. Cus then ISIS.

The rest we are in agreement on. But how do you win a war against an idea? I mean sure Al Qaeda is supposedly destroyed, haven't heard about ISIS in a while. However Hezbolah, Hamas, all those guys throughout Africa that we pretend every few years give a shit about. Another group will pop up.

Non sequiturs are fun.
the other Iranian agent is still working in the DOD:

Top Iranian Pentagon aide keeps security clearance despite ‘spying for Tehran’ accusation

By Kay Linge

An Iranian-born Pentagon official is to keep her top-level security clearance despite being named as part of a covert influence campaign run by Tehran — and being called a “spy” by Republicans.

Ariane Tabatabai appeared to be a willing recruit in the covert influence operation run by Tehran’s Foreign Ministry, according to a trove of leaked files revealed last month by Semafor.

She was previously a key aide to the suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley, whose secret ties to Tehran sparked congressional uproar.

Since early 2022, Tabatabai has been chief of staff to the Pentagon’s assistant secretary of defense for special operations and low-intensity conflict, Christopher P. Maier.

How this could possibly happen at this level is beyond me. How an Iranian citizen could survive the kind of clearance scrutiny I had to endure is mind-boggling and indicates even deeper penetration of our systems by other agents or sympathizers. How Robert Malley came to be Biden's chief negotiator and then turned out to be a possible Iranian agent is also telling of some extreme irresponsibility in the present security process.

How do you believe we get information about our foes? Does it magically appear? Or do we employ people from this countries? And what happens when those same people have expertise in espionage?

The world has a lot more grey than you seem you believe.

The way to beat the idea of Islam is to understand that it is a terrorist religion, that Mohammed was a mass murderer and child molester. We also have to understand that not every Muslim is a terrorist, but that devout Muslims follow the example set down by Mohammed. So radical Islam is going to exist until it is wiped out.

After winning a battle Mohammed would proclaim to his people that his destruction of the enemy was "God's will," and that all that happens is by the direct action of Allah. So after Israel wipes out Hamas the newspaper headlines the next day should be "Allahu Akbar!" Every time we kill or destroy radical Islamists in battle we should remind them it is "God's will" that they were destroyed. As we take down their infrastructure and create chaos in their populations remind them it's God's will that they suffer. The force of reality can change ideas, All that is required is the abundant application of overwhelming force over time.

If Western Civilization wants to survive in peace and tranquility it must sweep from the face of the Earth barbarian savages whose fundamental design is to destroy its order and enslave its people.

So, like Obama you're fine with the enemy running your nuclear negotiations? Are you fine with a suspected Iranian spy at the top of your Special Operations national command authority?

Probably should understand the concept of jihad and how extremists follow it. The religion allows that interpretation, but as with all other religions of the world, no singular interpretation is the only one.

Unless you just hate Muslims generally, then you can just ignore nuances like that. 👍

Where did I say anything like that?

Was he known to be a spy in 2008?

If you don't hate what these animals do in the name of Allah there's something wrong with you. When you understand that as many as 24% of the World's Muslims support Jihad you can see just how big and threatening this problem is.

I don't know, but if you've ever wondered how our policy towards Iran could be so radically skewed in Iran's favor over those years what is being exposed as we speak could be the answer.

The way to beat the idea of Islam is to understand that it is a terrorist religion,
lol it's not. It's just another version of Christianity.
that Mohammed was a mass murderer and child molester.
child molester? Our definition of a child and the definition of a child 1000 years ago is quite different.

That was the whole point of Sean's post, you can't wipe out an idea. We are still dealing with "ideas" from the middle ages that need to be wiped out, but they are still here hanging around.

Our policy has favored denuclearization and the JCPOA was supported by multiple international parties. You assuming one person has that much influence truly shows your ignorance on foreign policy.

All of the reported drones fired by the Houthis have been shot down, So they have specific but limited value.

You forget all of the conditions we've had to suffer in order to get their questionable cooperation. Yet they are even closer to achieving their nuclear goals.

The only hope of wiping out radical Islam, if such a thing is possible and I do not believe that it is, is just to kill them all. If we look just at the last 70 years run of the mill Christians are infinititely more dangerous to the West no matter how you try to slice it. Whether its the sanctions against Afghanistan, Venuezula, Cuba (though that's probably about race), overthrowing how many nations including but not limited to Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Our blanket support of Israel doesn't do us any favors in the region or increasingly around the world. Some of these people obviously were never our friends but we're in a "stop hitting yourself" situation right now.

If you believe that we should shout God is Great and if we're winning that's God's will fine. I mean I'm an atheist here and find that tactic disgusting. Nothing done by Mohamed is actually important here, at least not anymore so than Moses who supposed led what amounted to thousands of genocidal hobos wandered the Middle East for more than 40 years. I don't believe that happened because too many of the surrounding nations kept sufficiently detailed records that the idea a tribe was just wandering around wiping out tribes and cities and not even bothering to settle the ground is absurd.

Regardless by that logic if God didn't want planes to hit the Twin Towers they wouldn't have. Someone important was in the White House and it wasn't the President but God stepped in. See how fucking stupid that is?

Most Americans would be safe under the book to anybody actually following Islam. But hey if you want your children's children's children's to deal with this stay the course.

Foreign policy is not a straight forward. It involves working with adversaries to find and achieve a common goal....often compromises. You don't just get to dictate what you want and expect the opposition to capitulate.

The deal actually set them back on their nuclear endeavors by several years and would've done more had we not withdrawn.
