OK, we have discussed everything from friends to family and all people in between in relation to how our love of BDSM affects others.....what about the family pet? LOL, Masterful One was trying out a leftover of one of our renovations (a small wooden plank) on my butt in the living room and I looked up to see Marcella (cat) looking on shocked and frightened, but clearly fascinated. Unlike Zora, her own curiosity prevented her from following her instinct to run away and she came back to look some more from a safe distance behind the couch.
We placed the offending item on the floor and she crept up to it with eyes like saucers, flicking from the mystery monster to us and back, put out a tentative paw to touch it's surface, jumped back, tried to approach it again (several times ), then decided it was just too dangerous for her to play with. Her face has maintained a puzzled and shocked, not to mention wary look, ever since. So can this be damaging to our little friends..anyone else had similar experiences to draw from?
