Activists, Executives Tell Texas Senate to Ditch Bathroom Bill

And this is why I can't take you seriously. Your politics are built around not what you actually think should happen, but instead what entertainment you can get out of it and how much pain it causes to those you don't like.

You're either mistaken or trying to ascribe me a bunch of bullshit again.

My politics are built around classical liberalism, which is basically the exact opposite of modern 'liberalism' and much closer to libertarians.

My entertainment is a watching a bunch of socialist go full hypocrite on each other and get pissed about it.

A bill that prevents someone from doing something is somehow "small government" in your mind?

No.

You can't be for small government and for a bill that tells someone what bathroom that they can use at the same time. It's not possible.

I clearly stated I don't think the government shouldn't be involved in the very post you quoted.

It doesn't mean I can't laugh and support red Texas for both displaying and drawing out epic levels of hypocrisy and lack of self awareness on such a scale.

Good job Texas!!!:D showing everyone what that big gubbmint they love is all about.

I mean, enjoy the trolling I guess... but don't expect me to take any arguments you make seriously, if that's what your arguments amount to.

I expected a little more maturity from you, to be perfectly honest.

I didn't realize laughing at the epic hypocrisy of the partisans was an argument or a troll.

I'm not a DIEHARD team (D) or (R) so nobody takes me seriously.

Oh look the ascription queen chimes in.

Would you like to makes some shit up and see if it sticks today?

The only reason you don't take me seriously is because I'm not foaming at the mouth with hatred for Trump and giving (D)'s a pass on fucking anything and everything.

If I were that big of a partisan tool we'd be all GB friends and shit.

Physician, heal thyself.

Hell even if I did, you'd just deny it anyway. Or talk your way around it or rationalize it or any other of the eight million ways you get your over aggressive and fighting self into the zone and just carry on like a dog with a bone.

You mean I would explain to you that it's not ascription to to say you wanting to take my money by force to fund your special interest project is still socialism no matter how good you think your special interest is?

Yea that's not being over aggressive, that's just a reality check.

Stalled

Texas measures to restrict access for transgender people to bathrooms in schools and public buildings appear doomed after moderate Republican powerbrokers blocked the bills and hundreds of businesses opposed them.

The so-called "bathroom bills" have caused rifts among Republicans who control the state's legislature, leaving no likely path to passage before a 30-day special session wraps on Wednesday, analysts and lawmakers said on Monday.

"The bathroom bill in this session is dead and buried with dirt over its coffin," said Mark Jones, a political science professor at Rice University in Houston.

Good.
