I'm still not really getting orgasms, despite going off those antidepressants. Did some googling, and yes, it looks like my type 2 diabetes can affect it. The source I found suggested kegel exercises, and I'm seeking some advice, any good links on the subject, etc, or if any diabetics here can offer other advice then I'll take that too.

For a reference point: I believe I got a small clitoral orgasm just once maybe a year or so ago, I felt some very satisfying throbbing and twitching for a few seconds. Haven't been able to repeat it. I get wet enough for the dildo to slide in comfortably, and the thrusting and vibrating feels good, but not like, orgasm good. I've noticed if I try when my blood sugar is in the 200s and I feel kinda lethargic because of it, I don't get as wet and my clit won't even start the tingling feeling, or it does but not as easily or as much. I have an appointment to hopefully figure out the frequent high blood sugar thing soon.

Yeah. Advice?

Very sorry. I have type 2 diabetes also and I do have various forms of neuropathy from it but thankfully not in that area.

High blood sugar can affect moisture levels in the body. Be sue to drink lots of water and try exercise to get your blood sugar down. I assume you are also following a low or lower carb diet? That will help too.

Have you tried Youtube subliminals? Look for ones that are for female arousal/orgasm/wetness. There is even one for anal stimulation that for some reason gets me super wet.

Have you had your hormone levels checked? I am older and tend to be lower in estrogen so use a dab of OTC phytoestrogen cream. But you might be low in progesterone and if so, a yam cream can help.

Kegels alone will bring me to orgasm. It's not as strong of an orgasm as I will get with actual stimulation but then I am very easily orgasmic.

If your problem does stem from neuropathy (nerve damage), try Evening Primrose Oil capsules, 2,000 mg each morning and night.

Thanks for all of that, I'm not sure what my hormone levels are, but I'm only 26, will be 27 in a month, so it's probably not that. My diet...I admit could be better...

What are these Youtube subliminals? Youtube doesnt allow porn, so...what?

I don't think it's nerve damage, given as I'm still quite young, I think I might just have tight muscles up in there? What do you think, try kegels?

Kegels work to tighten the muscles. So if your muscles are too tight, that's the last thing you'd want. Let me get you some Youtube links. I don't know if they allow porn or not but some things require you to log in to prove that you are 18 or over.

These are some that I have used:

There are plenty of others. Look for ones that work for you.

As for your age, you could still have hormonal imbalances. I know women who went through early menopause. If you are having periods, I would suggest looking into some yam cream. It's a bit of a PITA because you have to use it only on certain days. Has to do with your cycle. I can't give particulars because it has been many years since I have used it.

I was going through some crisis an year back..so i was facing same problem as you..then after so much of search i got to mindful masturbation audios..they. Really worked for me..it took me few tries though..but once i got exactly to their theme.
In fact this practice lead me to a better than before self love..
They take your focus off from this target to achieve an orgasm which i realized later on, is actually a turn off..
I would highly recommend it . Just google it..there are few available for free on sound cloud too
Hope it helps

Okay, that's good to know how kegels work.

The audio though...I often masturbate to visual stimulation on the screen already, what sounds are these exactly? Sexy moaning or some kind of music? Would I have to use it every time?

I'm very basic with porn. Not much other than male solo gets me off, and even then, if he uses E stims or much other than his hands or makes too much noise it's a turn off. I love seeing a handsome hunk hump a transparent inflatable though. I can see everything his rock hard shaft does and every movement, and one of the videos I use, he even cums in it. But if there's a metal ring or anything like that on there? It turns me off because it's not natural enough.

I'm definitely not early menopausal, although my last period was delayed by a month. I'm thinking the diabetes might be the issue here?

Diabetes doesn't cause that. PCOS could and if you have diabetes, you could have that.

No the mindful masturbation is something else..than all the moans etc...its mostly like activating the brain center for sexual pleasure..
Plus it also revoke our suppressed urges...so we can feel again.. the pleasure
Its like a therapy for your problem.
And if done properly you will not need that after few... months.

Okay, I tried the subliminals. I felt some twitching down there just with the subliminal on its own, then I played the subliminal through my phone and one of my usual visual stimulation through the laptop and tried masturbating, but I didn't even get very wet. I just got off of my period like today though, if that has anything to do with it.

Are you supposed to masturbate to these things? How exactly are they used?

Are the audios here like the subliminals or sex moans? I know for a fact that too much sex moans just turns me off. If I watch porn and somebody makes too much noise I click out of there faster than I can say my own name.

My grandmother has type 2 diabetes - and while I've never discussed this exact issue with her, I would urge you to get on top of your high and low blood sugars, as she's often discussed with me that diabetes impedes the blood flow. As blood flow is part of sexual arousal, it makes sense to me to try to improve that as part of the effort.

Yes, I am working to improve that.
