If the people trying to fix the blame would instead try to fix the problems, we probably wouldn't have very many significant problems.

The people who are trying to fix the blame are part of the problem. Because if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

Wow...

...I know I now feel so much more enlightened.

Ummm... except, 95% (I made that percentage up, BTW) of the people who are trying to fix the blame are incapable of fixing the problems.

No, liberals and their neo-conservative friends are the problem. Nothing can or will be fixed under the current ideology of the country. The country has slowly died over the past 50 years, and blaming "both sides" like they are "equally responsible" will not solve the problem because they are not "equally responsible." In fact, only one ideology has been dominant to the point of totalitarianism in the country for decades.

In fact, there aren't even two active sides at all. There is one side that runs everything (liberals), and another phony controlled "opposition" side (neo-conservatives) that exists for the sole purpose of being a scape goat for the ruling side to blame for the problems.

"Moderates" are the problem with the country, because they prevent anyone from actually addressing the problem (liberalism). They are too stupid to identify the problem and instead focus on people who try to bring change by speaking against the problem (liberalism). They are fearful, stupid, self-righteous dopes.

I worry about the people that can be "undecided" a week or two out from a presidential election.

What is it that you need to know? Which band-wagon to jump on?

Some people just say undecided because they insist on voting by secret ballot.

Others wait until the last minute to do anything, including looking over the candidates and propositions.

And some just don't much like any candidate, and instead of trying to figure out who to vote FOR are trying to figure out who they most want to vote AGAINST.

Ballots are secret. Answering a pollster with "undecided" as opposed to 'I prefer not to participate." is stupid.

If you decide how to vote by "looking over" candidates and propositions at "the last moment" you are a disengaged voter...It would be better for all for you to not vote.

Nearly all judges around here are retained because most voters have no idea who the various judges are, vote "yes" to retain each one individually.

The voters motivation is immaterial. And if you feel that way you should consider third party candidates or getting invloved much earlier in the primary process.

As far as voting "against" someone...that isn't a box. The candidate that gets your vote assumes your full support.

Voting for a third party is often mis-characterized as "throwing away your vote." Not so. It tells both major candidates that x% of the electorate cannot stomach either of them.

Shallow.

Fixing the blame instead of the problem is a core tenet of conservatism.
:nods:

Agreed.

People that brag about their aloofness on important political matters ARE shallow,

People will exercise their franchise in whatever way they please. It is THEIR franchise.

Nobody has to conform to your views of how they should exercise their right to vote.

Plus you seem unaware of the "open primaries" that have pretty much rendered party affiliations pointless.

But you continue to posture. People won't act how you want them to, or how I want them to, or how anyone else wants them to.

All I did was describe the range of actions that you seem to be unaware of.

:nods:

Of course...

That is one of the charter tenets of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy when it was founded. By the Clintons.

::nods even more vigorously::

Not true for the problem is the abandonment of Liberalism for Socialism. The problems of Socialism cannot be fixed, only temporarily mitigated creating greater hardship in the future. The Socialist actively seeks to destroy Liberalism and will do nothing to return it, note I do not say fix it, for when left to itself, it is not ever truly broken or in need of blame for it is self-correcting based upon basic Human Action.

So the people who fix the blame on a poor economic model will also admit that they have no known way of "fixing" its fatal flaw short of abandonment and those who love being all-knowing Social Engineers blanch, panic and sputter at the idea that economics are an Laissez-faire activity which does not require the superior education and intellect to run it, the same education and intellect that cannot ever seem to get Socialism right.

How would you suggest we solve the "problem" we have occupying the WH?

If the premise upon which any particular program is built is flawed, then there is no real way of 'fixing' the flaw.

We have this thing here in America called "elections", Miles.

Miles is still butthurt over the results of the 2012 election.
....that's why he refers to President Obama as "the Fraud", because he's not able to acknowledge the fact that the majority of voters opted to return President Obama to the White House.

Perhaps he wishes that America treat their Negroes like his mother country does, in nice little concentration ("refugee") camps where they're happy amongst their own kind

Lemme guess, you will be the first to bitch and moan if a repub gets elected in 16. Or will you surprise me and get behind the new president and exclaim to the world that the person was elected fair and square and you believe in our new president 100%. Adding that anybody who criticizes the newly elected president is either part of a left wing conspiracy or a racist.

More dog squeeze from SewerScumDownSouth.

My "mother country?"

What a fucking moron.
