In my case it's predominantly a case of "sharing". I like having sex with my wife, so why hoard that? And watching two people enjoying having sex (god that's an awful construction) is a pretty good bonus.

The best way I can answer this is, for me at least, "I really don't know". It's not just the idea of my wife getting laid by another but wives in general having extra marital sex with her husbands approval. It's a huge turn on.
