The short answer for me is YES!

I love the idea someone finds me desirable, even as a fantasy. In a similar thread that for some reason died before filling half a page, I told of this experience I had when rather young, naive, and just beginning my career as a photographers model.

Thank you, I knew many nude models, being one myself back in the 1970's and early '80's and my unscientific guesstimate I would say it is about 50-50 between those who liked it and those who didn't but did it for money only. I did it for both reasons. Porn stars I'd say are different, my guess from the ones I knew would be more like 30-70% with more disliking it , In both cases I'm sure it could be broken down into more accurate numbers by catagorizing say on a scale of 1 being loving it and 10, hating it. That's very interesting. I think you're right, more women probably don't like it than do. That was my thought going into it, actually. The reason I was surprised is that more liked it than I thought would. I do think the power aspect is part of it. I think the opposite is too though. I think there's an element of objectification and even humiliation that some women get off on. Men do too but I think this specific thing is a different circumstance. Since gender roles are what they are in our society I think men being desired is a situation where the men feel powerful and in control and when women are desired it can easily be the opposite and often is. I've walked down the street and had women smile at me and even say some things and it's always very flattering and an ego boost but catcalling women is not the same thing at all. So I think that extends to this too. Both of you make very good points. You may well be right. I don't think there's ever going to be a way to know for sure but I can see how many would not admit it. I think it's kind of taboo to say "I want someone to masturbate to me" to most people. Maybe even shocking. I know almost everyone likes being wanted and found attractive but I wonder how far that goes for the average person. I'm starting to think you're right and it goes farther than I thought it would.
