How to clean silver jewelry?

Olive oil works on silver coins. Leaves patina, removes tarnish.

If it's just a chain, try dipping it in Tarn-X. Smells terrible, but does a great job in removing tarnish. Any drug store will have it. Around stones, use a cotton ball and get close to the stones. This should do well for you.

Olive oil? Never heard that one before. I'll try it. I hope it rinses out completely; otherwise, it's going to leave a sticky mess in all the crevices.

We tried Tarn-X, and you're correct - the smell is horrible! It does work, but I couldn't find a way to safely clean around the stones without leaving noticeable amounts of tarnish.
