Good discussion but...
Really much ado about nothing.
Some people that are involved in D/s, M/s and BDSM choose to identify it by calling it a lifestyle implying that they are part of a like-minded group of individuals. So what?
I do the same thing, I call it a lifestyle choice. Do I live it 24/7, flaunting My Dominance over everyone and everything I come in contact with? Hell non, nobody can or would even want to do such a thing. (Not if they had a functioning brain.)
It's simply a label that allows us to recognize each other easily.
