I can write a book about incest, but can I write an incest story? They seem to be different animals.

Like GSA (genetic sexual attraction) is real. When siblings are separated at birth then meet in adulthood the sexual attraction is intense. Its real. Two years ago I met my youngest sister for the first time. She was born when I was in Vietnam, and our paths never crossed till now. I'd fuck her without guilt or hesitation. I wont fuck our 4 sisters I know. Ewwww. Cooties.

Women fuck people who are in close proximity more often than people who are good for them but far away. They'll do a kid or a student or their brother or the neighbor or the boss or their son/son in law when theyre horny. Its their cross to bear. They want it now.

So stories about distant cousins (distant as in far away) fucking or widow Ma fucking Sonny are plausible. I had sex with a cousin who lived far away. She came for a visit and WHAM. Ditto an aunt from far away. She had a few drinks while the cat was out fishing in the Gulf and WHAM.

I just wrote an incest story about a guy who finds the Ma who put him up for adoption when she was a teen. She's now married to a drunk, and selling pussy. He finds her via DNA testing and starts fucking her after they meet. No anguish or guilt or confessions to the priest at Saint Pia Zadora. The central conflict is: Is her heart into leaving the street to be her son's 'wife.' He has money and prosperity. He killed a thug who stole her money and beat her. Or is her donut serving daughter who wants prosperity and safety better for Sonny?

Its my idea of the incest story but is it what readers want?
 
This is a topic I find fascinating because my 'religious' beliefs are pretty much if it feels good do it as long as you're not hurting anyone or yourself.

Meaning when it comes to who you love...I really could care less about rules people made up to feel good about themselves or the code of a God that doesn't exist.

I've heard of GSA and its the one exception to the Westermarck theory which states we are preconditioned- as early as in the womb some believe-to not be attracted to our parents/siblings. But of course if you are not raised together it becomes reversed and there is a higher rate of attraction than there would be between to unrelated strangers.

As for incest...what you see here on lit is night and day from real life. In real life you are mostly dealing with abuse and molestation or some type of emotional issues on both sides that lead to it, in another words in many cases its a crime and in others a result of some other type of problem.

But here on lit is 18+ so its between consensual adults and its pure fantasy. Erotica style incest is far from real life. VC Andrews Flowers in the attic was a real life type story as the incest was not sexy but disturbing.

Because the fans of incest are aware of what it is in real life what they want to see here is the fantasy not the reality. They want either something romantic where there is a feeling of love between the family members and they love each other so much they will cross that line or they want pure unrealistic stroke where the line is crossed for no reason other than pure lust and everyone is just having a good time.

But its consensual and fun.

Incest stories here that focus on darker topics are not as well received. Throw in some abuse or drug use or tragedy and your views and scores go down. People don't want to be reminded of the real life issues they want their incest fun and fluffy.

Therefore I don't see the story you describe as going over too well. That's not to say you shouldn't write it your way and post it, but your question is how will it be received and I don't think it will 'succeed' unless you have a some emotion between the mother and son, the son being upset and hurt seeing his mother like this and the mother feeling shame and remorse and her love for her son becomes her salvation, that...can save it, but even then the fluffy crowd has already tuned out.

I wrote and entire series hardly anyone read because I put in a lot of harsh realities and depressing material, but my stories like "Mom loves to suck?" they go through the roof here....

Every category here relies on fantasy and implausibility to certain extents, but incest is the most implausible and the one the readers want most to not be realistic.

I just submitted an incest story I call THE DAY I BECAME A MOTHER FUCKER.

Real life incest is a lot more common than people want to think.

Especially between Sibs. Think about it, your brother/sister is a member of the opposite sex that you're very close to, you hit early teens, you're curious, you're horny...there are many people who had 'show me yours I'll show you mine' experiences with siblings, they might not have gone as far as sex, but kissing, touching, heavy petting, even oral...

In most cases its only a few times and a phase and as soon as they start getting involved with a boyfriend/girlfriend it ends, but for a few it keeps going.

I'll admit to thinking sibling incest is sexy(providing they are close in age and its not a case of a much older one taking advantage of....and its all consensual) because sibs are peers, equals....

But in real life cases of parent/child even if the child is an adult its wrong a parent should always know better and let's face it, it does not start at eighteen, daddy was in the cookie jar well before daughter dearest went to college.

You raise some very good points. I have a very good friend who's had incestuous thoughts (only thoughts) mind you about her brother. I imagine that's a nirmal healthy part of growing up.

Real incest is very disturbing no matter the circumstances. It's always a very profound trust being destroyed. I do worry about some of the people who write the genre it I suppose in all honesty it's just a fantasy like a woman having sex with a zombie in an erotic horror story.

You have to separate someone from what they do. I doubt Agatha Christie was a closet murderer.

As long as its over 18 anything flies.

The thing about writing incest is I do it because the taboo turns me on. I have no desire for my mother, but the thought a mother would seduce her son is hot, in the context of him being over eighteen and willing.

I am intrigued by the emotional taboo, for me the idea of someone falling in love with the one person they shouldn't is a bigger turn on than the sex, that's why I am personally not a fan of stroke incest.

My assumption is the vast majority of readers and writers of incest are like me all fantasy no experience, but the hazard is the feedbacks we sometimes get from people claiming they slept with mom, sis, daughter etc...sometimes they can make me sit back and think am I encouraging this...but then I really don't think so. They are confessing to what they already did, maybe. Because I think many did not and its a weird form of attention getting

As for conflicting things in incest and non con...every category has factions of what they like and what they will troll. Non consent, I have only written one piece there and it was reluctance not non con and I have little feel for the category. Best thing to do is write your story and as long as you remain within the rules just let it fly.

Some will like it some may not, same as any other category

Well I confess I like the reluctant or tricked sub genre and am writing a tale of a gentleman who's 3 daughters and wife are cuckolded and even his sons wife.

He eventually gets his life back in order and starts afresh far away with his new love. I plan a few twists in the story and a nice revelation and am just really nailing it down. I e already fleshed out the story and shall buckle down to it.

You know when you think sick real life incest the first thought is dad diddling his daughter or son.

Yes there are cases of that. I read about the singer of the group the Lost Prohets was getting mothers with very young children and even babies trying to sexually abuse them. Very worrying. Then there was the children's entertainers like Jimmy Savile and Rolf Harris also in the UK.

It's shocking how much society turned a blind eye to it all.

I do worry about some people reading these stories and not being able to realize 'it's made up. It's not real or an endorsement.'

The best invest story I read was of a gentleman who was terrified he'd be discovered with writing incest erotica and posting it online. One day his daughter found it and seduced him. It was very good.

My ones have been a sort of Loving Wives/Incest type story.

I have one "A Mother's Love Never dies" about a son who loved his mother, but never told her and she dies in an accident. He has this girl who is all over him, best friend who wants to be more type, but he won't be with her because he is still moping about mom

The girl is a medium and holds a seance for him to talk to his mother. The mother possesses the girl, has sex with her son, but of course she is in the young girls body(I toss in some jokes like the mother looking down at her tits saying "damn look at these, damn they're firm!" and after sex tells the son she loved him to, but go be happy....

The trick at the end was the mother allowed the girl to remember the sex, but not the dialogue, but did hear the I love you and now they will live happily ever after....excuse me while I barf now...:eek:

As for this thread, readers want to read about the taboo. That's how i see it. Plain and simple.

They want to read about the unspoken line that's about to be crossed. How a mom struggles with her secret lust. How a son feel uncomfortable seeing certain things. Or vice versa.

It's all about the taboo and straddling the forbidden line.

Well first I notice incest has a lot of international readers I get a lot of feedback from people you can tell English is their second language, seems big in India and a lot of UK readers are from the UK...you know because its always "my mum" in the comments.

As for in general I don't think its limited to a certain type of person, but I know there are a lot of professional people with the kink. One of my long time readers is a psychologist and two others are attorneys.

I find it strange people equate a certain type of professional with having no kinks, honestly they tend to be some of the kinkier people.
