BREAKING
WAR

BREAKING: Ukraine War Architect Victoria Nuland RESIGNS.

Victoria Nuland, the third-ranking diplomat in the United States and architect of the Ukraine war, has announced her early retirement, according to the State Department.
Her resignation will doubtless be construed as a sign of her failure across several briefs, most recently her Ukraine war involvement and the ongoing crisis in Europe.

After overseeing the destruction of Ukraine, the deaths of hundreds of thousands, and sticking her meddlesome nose in most of the World's business, she's bugging out before being summarily dismissed by the next President.

But we're not at war

We just send over tons of weapons and billions of dollars, but we're not involved, really!

No one said we're not involved. We're just not at war officially. I doubt Trump wins but anything could happen.

Now that her policies in Ukraine have failed to unseat Putin, bring woke elitism and Blackrock to Russia to exploit their natural resources, and leave us on the brink of Nuclear war, she waddles up to her buckboard to head off toward the setting sun to the twang of Happy Trails.

Schumer says our troops will be in the field in Ukraine if we don't give them another 60 billion.

Russia invaded Ukraine.

Sounds like a solid reason to give them another 60 b.
Why? It won't have any effect on the outcome of the war and much of it will be stolen. There's no way Ukraine can prevail over Russia which has four times the population of Ukraine and vastly more resources and industrial capability. It's been a fool's errand from the start. Look at history. The Mongol Empire failed in the end against the Russians, the Ottoman Turks tried it, as did the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Sweden tried it, Napoleon tried it with the French Army, and Nazi Germany tried it, but all failed in the end.

The Kaiser succeeded but was forced to give it back, which is too bad because if they hadn't, there would have been much less cause for Germany to start WW2.

In context which was available in the post the options are American boots on the ground and 60b to Ukraine. That's a no brainer.

We have no way of knowing how much is stolen This has absolutely nothing in common with the wars you're quoting historically. Nobody ever expected Ukraine to even go in to Russia much less conquer them. An absolute best case scenario would be them reclaiming Georgia and that doesn't seem at all probable.

Hitler pretty much succeeded in concurring Russia too if not for massive help from the US and the Western Front

What’s your point?

Will Putin stop at the Ukraine?
Will Trump defend Poland ? It was Russian for a bit. Surely Putin will take Trump’s off to attack. Oh wait !! Poland spends a greater percentage than we do !! But all those border countries are doing their 2 percent,
so Putin will have decisions after swallowing the Ukraine

This is Russia's war. Victory for Ukraine is successfully defending itself against invaders.
So is Ukraine successfully defending itself against Russia? Has the battlefield situation maps changed significantly since we've given them 113 billion in aid, almost twice the entire operational yearly budget of your Marine Corps?

Total bullshit. Putin isn't going to invade Poland.

Actually they have been doing a good job. The battlefield maps not changing means they are pretty much holding the line.

Either way.... They didn't start the war.. this is Russia's war.

And we are their allies helping them defend themselves against invading forces.

That is what you should have taken away after reading my post.

That isn't really important especially since we don't really know that there is no way for Ukraine to prevail.

No, it means that Russia has used restraint, the invasion was localized to encompass those Russian-speaking provinces it presently occupies with no intention of moving further west. Recall that although he had larger reserves in the field, Putin initially attacked with a force of 90,000 men, far too small of a force to have any larger designs on western Ukraine. I don't support what has been done but it is what it is and not for the first time in the history of the world.

Ukraine is not going to prevail against Russia in this campaign. The bottom line reason is that Russia will use nuclear weapons to keep NATO out of Ukraine and away from its southern border. They have said so. Recall the Monroe Doctrine and how we kicked the French out of Mexico. Nobody in Europe or outside the Biden administration will support a nuclear war with Russia, or even a conventional war that would put our homeland infrastructure at risk. That is why the goals of the Biden administration cannot be realized. As bad as it is for the Ukrainians, it is bad. The eastern part of the country has been destroyed, and the most valuable real estate in Ukraine is in the hands of the Russians. Both sides have lost hundreds of thousands of casualties, huge numbers for both sides but worse for Ukraine because their population is four times smaller than Russia's. The destruction in Ukraine is on WWI levels, their mass graves are large enough to be seen and photographed from space. The only answer to this war is negotiation. At this point, and sadly so, it appears the Russians are going to be in a position to dictate the conditions on the ground.

Ukraine is defending itself from a foreign invader. There is no both sides. Russia should stop their invasion and seek a peace deal, but instead they continue to invade.

NATO is not fighting in the war. Russia will not use nuclear weapons

There can be no peace deal if there aren't two sides of an argument needing to be reconciled.

NATO is fighting a proxy war in Ukraine. Russia has said if they determine an existential threat exists on their border they will use nuclear weapons to defend the integrity of that border. I know you think they are bullshitting, but Europe doesn't. They aren't 6000 miles from the battlefield. The British are said to have SAS personnel on the ground in Ukraine. Their activities could spark WWIII, and do take note that the entire British army as it stands today wouldn't fill a football stadium. Our army today is only one-third the size it was during the Vietnam war.

And Russia could immediately cease the fighting and invite Ukraine to the table. They could offer up concessions to entice Ukraine as well. It's their war.

Recall that Putin and Zelensky did so in February of 2023 but then Joe Biden, probably on Nuland's advice, sent Boris Johnson to Kiev to tell Zelensky to table their peace agreement in favor of more weapons aid. I think Zelensky will have to beg Putin for peace this time around.
