My stories keeps got sent back and I don't understand why.

I highly doubt that Craftsman is ever going to even find the story, if DJ ever writes it. I've used Burger King quite often but true, no one poisons the Whoppers. There is a song called "Death is Driving a Pontiac" (it's favored by a serial killer) but General Motors hasn't gone after Angry Johnny as far as I know. And no, I don't know if the song was released before or after the brand was dropped.
We were doing a comedic back-and-forth with our non-serious comments. Kind of like Statler and Waldorf of the Muppets.

I just did a high school cheerleader blackmail story with no problem.

I have a series where all the student characters are seniors and specified to be 18+.
Sure, but for the OP this looks to be a case of making particularly sure, especially as he's new around these parts and English isn't his first language.

I got that. But people here do worry about problems that haven't come up yet, like using brand names. Maybe I should be more careful, but if I screw up, Craftsman, General Motors, or Burger King can have my social security check. However, it would be bad "optics" for them when I go to the media. :)

I'm surprised, Laurel actually added a clarification? That's quite rare.
It is?
I finally joined a couple of other sites
Can you link them? I could look at them.
I noticed that my story I was referring to was published in 2018. Maybe it wouldn't be accepted today; I have no idea. The actual encounter between the man and woman is quite brief and the violence is mild. She orders him to drive her to a place where she can hail a cab, so he's not really hurt much. She's more angry than afraid of him if she's willing to stay in the car for another ten minutes for that trip. I think the new version is better written (five years experience helps) but I'll have to decide. The worst that could happen is that it gets rejected like yours was, and I won't contest it.

The site is consistent in that male rape is no more acceptable than female rape. And it's pretty extreme punishment for what seems to be being a peeping Tom.
It could be. The story was born for the ballbusting stories subreddit, but i liked to get more feedback so i've tried here.

Do you know some other sites where i can post it?
I must have done this three or four times in the last five years, but I'll send you a PM tomorrow. I don't know if it's a rule or just etiquette, but it's not cool to mention other such sites in Lit forums.

P.S.: There's a ballbusting subreddit? Another new thing I've learned on Lit. Do you actually find that kind of thing interesting? You're male, right? (Or wrong?) I've had that experience I mentioned of getting hit in the testicles by a softball (fortunately it wasn't a hardball) and there was nothing erotic about it. I've also broken an elbow and had a dislocated finger, and those weren't erotic either.

Since english isn't my native lanuguage, can you explain me wht a "fig leaf" mean?
There's a scene in the Bible where Adam and Eve first realise they're naked, and they make themselves clothes from fig leaves.

A lot of classical sculptors and painters were deeply, deeply horny people who really liked drawing and painting attractive people naked. But a lot of them were working for the Church, which wasn't keen on paying people to make outright porn. So they would often add a fig leaf so that the figure wasn't technically naked. (Or in some cases, they created it fully nude, and then somebody else added a fig leaf afterwards.)

Here's an example, from Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam". If you look really closely, you can just see the tiniest imaginable fig leaf covering his dick.

So in English "fig leaf" has become an expression that means doing something very small to excuse something that would otherwise be unacceptable.

An example in porn is all the videos with "step-parents", "step-brother" and "step-sister" and so on. Nobody takes the "step" part seriously. But it's an excuse that lets them pretend the videos aren't about incest.

Lit won't stop you for that one, but the Craftsman people will want to make sure you don't portray their tool as a willing accessory to anal rape. They'll need you to make it a sympathetic character, perhaps one who is being forced into the situation as well. The rusty part will help sell that, as it could imply the saw is down on its luck, made desperate from poverty, unpaid maintenance bills, etc. and pressured into a sketchy job without getting all the details up front.
I know this is in jest, but fun fact: Apple actually have a rule where they will not allow iPhones to be used onscreen by villains. So next time you're watching a mystery and someone pulls out their iPhone, you know they're cool.

53550: just curious: who caught this peeping Tom character and "busted his balls?" The school authorities? That must be one strict school. And then he's forced to "pleasure" the same two girls he was looking at? Wasn't that what he wanted in the first place? And who sent that debt collector? The Mafia?

I know all that is not quite relevant to your question, but I am interested in how people create story plots. You are under no obligation to make them plausible.

I'm opposed to threads like this even existing here.

I'm opposed to all forms of offensive/aggressive violence even in 'fiction'.

Does that fiction include works like All Quiet on the Western Front and The Thin Red Line? War is the ultimate in offensive/aggressive violence, and they often go on for years. It's happening in several places right now.

As Bamagan has put it: if your characters are a doctor and a lawyer, then of course they're over 18 because outside Doogie Howser nobody gets to be a Doctor until they're 25.

I felt a great disturbance in the Forums, as if millions of fanfic ideas suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

I assume that this is from one of the Star Wars films? I stopped watching them after the original three. I know, George Lucas would call them four through six.

Empire Strikes Back, so you should know it—Yoda to Luke upon Luke's failure to raise his fighter out of the mire.

I saw it when it first came out - how long ago was that? I don't think I was paying much attention to the dialogue.

P.S.: It was 1980.
