In everyone's life there are events that change the course of destiny. Some change entire generations like the assassination of John F Keenedy. Sometimes they only change an individual, like a first kiss or one great summer.

This thread takes work.

Post a moment that changed your life and put a pic with it.

As an example, I will start.

When I heard the news that Kurt Coabain had died, I was saddened. Not because he was a great guy, or that his death effected me in a personal way, but because he seemed to sing about how I was feeling and about things I was going through. In a sense, he was another disenfranchised slacker looking to fit in. If he could give it up, what was saving me?

I took stock of my own mortality...but I still miss his music.

and the lambada...it changed my life...I only wish it had lasted longer...

The evil rush of doing The Forbidden Dance...always on the lookout for the authorities...dancing in alleys, empty warehouses, basements, safe houses...

Getting my Grad pics taken. My mother told me that, when she had her photos taken when she was graduating high school, she made a decision that she would move on, beyond high school with her life, and that she would leave behind all of those people who would drag her down from her dreams.

When I had my photos taken, in January of 2000, I made the decision that I would move on.. not only from high school, but from the people, the mentality, and the person that I was in high school. I was too safe, too sheltered, and I made the decision to learn. I made the decision to explore and to open my mind and widen my horizons.

This was the first pic I ever saw of my current S/O. I knew I loved him the minute I saw it.
