Could be worse....
I met a guy yesterday that takes his own toppings to his local pizzaria.....black pudding, stilton and worcestershire sauce!

Eewww!

My Polish great-grandmother tried to have us kids try kiszah, the equivalent to black pudding. Eeewwww

My parents force-fed us kids black pudding when we were growing up. I vowed that as an adult, I would never touch it again!
I am quite adventurous with food but I have a rule.... if I have tried a food made 3 different ways, and I still don't like it, then it's off the menu forever.

Both sides of my family were always "Try this" with food. If you didn't like it, it was okay. Usually my mom would not serve something for dinner we all didn't at least tolerate. And if she did make something, like fish, that someone didn't like, she had pasta or sandwiches for us to eat.

I raised our son the same way. And since I have major experience working as a short order cook, I can make 2, 3 different meals simultaneously.

It is similar to a gigantic Crumpet, with yummy English Cheddar and fresh tomato sauce.

American chain shop pizza would make a nice bath mat. What is in that crust?

Normally, I can cater to most peoples preferences....
My kidlet's girlfriend however
All she eats is chicken nuggets, peas and corn. That's it. Her whole diet.
I got nuthin :(

I never thought to use bees wax as an ingredient in food...

"Finally I had a trio of little canales cooked in beeswax. I got stuck into these as soon as I had bought them so I don’t have a photo to show you, but here is a link

to one. The canales were delicious and tasted of honey and dreams come true, the only downside being the maraschino cherry which overwhelmed at first bite before giving way to the subtler flavour of the cake, but if overwhelming cherry is a concern for you, you can always remove it as Naomi (my girlfriend) did."

I just made a gallon of hot pickled cauliflower. Next week, when the peppers work their magic, my mouf will be so happy.

Boil equal parts of vinegar and water, with a hand full of salt.

Put some cauliflower in the jug with some coriander seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, whole garlic cloves, peppercorns and two big hand fulls of sliced ghost peppers.

Pour the hot liquid in the jug and set on the counter until it cools.

Then put the lid on and put it in the fridge.

Rainy day...which means cookin' in the kitchen.
So far: Oatmeal Protein Pancakes (yummy!).
In the works: a cake made with avocado and Chicken Meatballs.
Later: Bison Meatballs, grilled chicken thighs, lamb chops and Rocky Mountain Oysters.
It's gonna be a good day!
