Your favourite types of gag?

I have only had the pleasure of using a ball gag and 'ring' gag... but would like to use other forms of gags in the future, either off-the-shelf or makeshift...

What type of gags do you like most? Or what's the strangest you've used?

They all have their advantages and drawbacks.

A silicone ball gag is pretty versatile. Ring gags are nice for a.) holding the mouth open and b.) watching the other person drool. Duct tape and a dirty sock work nicely in a pinch. Bit gags seem kind of silly to me, but I know lots of people like them. Some of the medical-y open-mouthed gags look hot.

My favorite is probably one's own underwear (or a spare piece of cloth) that's been pissed on, stuffed into the mouth, and secured with duct tape. That's hot for me to use on others, and the one time I had it done to me, it was pretty hot, too.

We've used a couple different kinds: ball gag, purple bit-type thing with hole punched in it, and a fish-hook gag.

The purple bit thing came with a set off cuff he bought so we gave it a go just for kicks. the air holes made it much easier for me to breathe, though I don't think they muffled much sound. Fortunately the house was empty.

The Fish-hook gag was interesting. Great for a humiliation factor and I could still talk fairly coherently so if I needed to tell him of some problem we didn't need an extra signal. Nice for blow jobs, but theres not a whole lot you can do about teeth.

Also a personal favorite with or without the piss or duct tape. i have only had the duct tape once but it did feel more sinister. Applying the piss AFTER the panties are in the mouth is also interesting as it slowly soaks into the fabric.

As for home made, dowling rods can be good. Although if they are used during pain play they can be left with teeth marks; so you need to be sure they are smooth.

I can only imagine the humiliation of going to the dentist to have splinters removed from teeth and gums

Wow, some really interesting ideas I'm going to have to try out!

I love the whole aspect of taking away someone's main forms of communication... tied up so their movement is restricted is great, but gagging someone really tops it off, making touch and eye contact (unless they're blindfolded of course!) so more exciting.

Plus, gags keep noise down... which is ideal when you have neighbours on the other side of the wall!

Ring gags are great, Harmony. I'm sure Ann Summers used to have them too, but can't see them on their site. They do have horse bits though....
