You're not old fashioned but fashions change. My grandmother was married at the age of 14 and was 15 when my mother was born. She completed 8 years of school, which was considered suffiecient in those days.

But back to the present.

We have a prolonged adolescence today, mostly for the extra years of education.Marriage and pregnancey mess that plan up real bad. The blame for a pregnant 12 year old rests squarely on the parents, where ever they may have been. Its no different than keeping bleach out of the hands of a toddler.
