Argentina devalued their currency to beat their debt after their 1999-2002 debt crisis.http://pointofviewcameras.com/images/blog/gopro/nab2010/gopro-hd-advanced-combat-helmet-ach-miliary-mount.jpg
Right, because we haven't hyper-inflated the currency to pay off the debt YET as the OP suggested. Pay attention to the posts. If we do as LJ suggests we WILL have rampant inflation.
LOL, guess not.Argentina devalued their currency to beat their debt after their 1999-2002 debt crisis.
Their poverty rates plummeted and their wage growth slightly outpaced inflation.
Have anything to say to that?

But if poverty rates decrease, that's not a turn for the worse. This is true...I was just there. The Argentine government also seized all the private pensions as well.
If we inflate our way out of this our standard of living will take a big turn for the worse. We will all lose.
