well i have been thinking about this all night, and it is totally freaking me outttttttttttttttttttttt.....

ok story......here it goes....

a guy i work with, i was going to call him a gentleman, but after last night i choke on those words......he seemed pretty mild mannered, very soft spoken, easy going, or so i thought........he smoked a little dope, so what pot smoker, no big deal right.....but last week his house raided by the cops, for dealing, and what did they find when they got there..........homemade movies of him and some very young kids..........yes him and children, he was making them, selling them, and exploiting them.......he was arrested, and is out on bail, but now we have to work with this guy......until his trial date, i guess, there is no doubt he will be going to jail, the evidence is there.............i am totally disgusted......and am having a hard time dealing with having to even be in the same with room..........christ where do these sicko's come from..................

Unfortunately most employers would be libel for a lawsuit if they fired him before he is proven quilty.

yes I do agree with the innocent until proven guilty rule, but when it is so obvious and so heinous I have a hard time stomaching it.

I really dont think I would be able to go to work myself. What is wrong with people. What has happened that this is becoming the norm in society? I like my dog better than most people every day (except WC and all my new Lit friends )

It's really easy to jump to conclusions. One can presume that if he were a public danger, the bail would be very high. Think of all those day care providers who were hounded and tried and imprisoned for little more reason than the excitement of some psychotic prosecutors and a Salem-type media hysteria. And that was in the '80s! Recently.
I'm not saying April is hallucinating, but yeah, innocent people are charged, and lurid details appear in the press, and later, sometimes, everyone's a little embarrassed. The victim, of course, is wrecked. The cops aren't perfect, but they sure make a good case before trial.
