I just read on yahoo that the school board of a high school in Utah has denied the student body of choosing the name "Cougars " for the school mascot because it may offend older women. Just a side note, Cougars were one of a few names that the school board presented to the student body to vote on. There is way to much bullshit in the world today.

I don't care what the slang for Cougar stands for, it's a powerful graceful animal, pretty good for a mascot, I think.
