"You didn't build that" is Obama's precise belief.

When you cannot post a sentence, retort, or comment without the word Nigger in it, it says a lot about you. It really does. We get that you're racist, bigoted, hate-filled, and God only knows what else. It's tiring. It's old.
And

it's just sad.

Sounds way to much like a description of Democrats demeaning of Herman Cain for me. I like Herman Cain, he would have gotten my vote. Coincidentally, Democrats racism really got a good showing in that little insightful display of true colors.

Thank god the majority of your party wanted someone much more qualified than that fool.

Moron is not a race.

And what exactly do the Democrats have to do with Mr. Cain? Wasn't he a Rupublicunt?

The government was created by and for the people, not the other way around. It exists only to serve us, not to be our masters. It is us who determine what government should be, and that is all. It does not create us, it does not allow us, and we do not owe it anything. We are its owner, and it is subject to us. We need to bitchslap this creature that is clearly trying to take on a life of its own, and return it to a status of subservience, its rightful place.

I agree with you 110%!

We’re not, we’re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that’s fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money. But, you know, part of the American way is, you know, you can just keep on making it if you’re providing a good product or providing good service. We don’t want people to stop, ah, fulfilling the core responsibilities of the financial system to help grow our economy. says Obama who wrote two crumy books and made $5million bucks!

If you confiscated the wealth of every millionaire in America, roughly 3 Trillion Dollars, you'd collect enough money to pay our budget deficit for 2 years. Its much easier to print $10,000 of paper money for every American, to get the same amount. And thats how the government does it.

But whose money would you confiscate after 2 years?

Cain's bigger problem was Republicans demeaning him. And he lacked awareness of basic concepts of... well, most things.

With the miracle of Fractional Reserve Banking - the confiscation of $3 trillion would allow additional borrowing and spending of up to $30 trillion.

If I had been in charge of the the nearly $3 trillion in assorted economic stimulus, I would have given $100,000 in tax free cash to the poorest 30,000,000 families in the nation.

Which would further increase said national debt. Then what?

And economically speaking, that would accomplish what?

With $3 trillion distributed to 30,000,000 people? You do not think the 30 million poorest families in this country would have spent $3 trillion in a hurry? New Cars, New Televisions, New Clothing, New Houses, Dinner Out, Movies, Beer, Lottery Tickets and a million other taxable items?

The states would receive an average of 5% of it almost instantly in sales taxes.

Jobs created in sales, manufacturing and services as the money is spent.

Giving stimulus money to politically favoured businesses and banks was folly. Letting the People decide who gets it, is Free Market at work.

Plus, it would 'trickle up" and the wealthy would end up with most of it anyway, but in my scenario - I get reelected with a majority that redefines landslide and everyone gets to scratch their heads in wonder of it all.

"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

"The point is, when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together."

Now that the statement is in context, it makes a lot of sense. The United States is not just a bunch of individuals. The President said nothing remotely implying that a successful business person did not build their own business. Just by repeating that tripe you undermine everything else you post.

E Pluribus Unum

That's right Kamerad, we did it together.....

Al Capone said it so much better when he observed that America is like its favorite pasttime, baseball. BASEBALL IS TEAMWORK PLUS INDIVIDUAL INITIATIVE! ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER IS NO GOOD.

And THAT dear Librulz is very different from the National Scold saying, YOU DIDNT DO THAT! Who does that silly fuck think hit all of Babe Ruths home runs?

I do, but why do you think it'd be a good thing?

A massive national spending spree equals massive price hikes and catastrophic currency depreciation. When everyone has lots of something, that something instantly loses value. If everyone had lots of gold it'd be cheaper than plastic; if everyone had lots of dollars those dollars wouldn't be worth much.

Sure, the businesses would get a short-term boost, but again, it would quickly lose value. It is true that if everyone was suddenly buying cars, the car industry would logically need to hire more people and open new production lines to meet the avalanche of demand- but if it is merely a short-term spike in demand, then those production lines will grind to a halt next year, and the people will be fired as quickly as they were hired.

Also, note that the things you're suggesting people would spend money on are not the kind of things that grow in value over time; they're either forms of instant gratification or items which can only depreciate in value and grow obsolete over a short time. That is another problem; once the poor were showered with money and that money was quickly spent, nothing is accomplished in the long term. There's no difference of principle between your suggestion and just printing more money, except your suggestion would involve violating property rights and discouraging success.

This American system of ours, call it Americanism, call it capitalism, call it what you will, gives each and every one of us a great opportunity if we only seize it with both hands and make the most of it. Al Capone

I'm not so sure there would be price hikes. There wouldn't be any more money printed, so that's out. Price hikes only happen when there is no competition. If it was for something like a car, well, there's plenty of competition out there. Anyone who raised their prices would have to deal with competitors who didn't.
