I know you're worried about your girl, but can I hijack/distract you for a moment?

Long story short, I have chicken pox. I'm taking an antiviral, benadryl, aspirin at night, and drinking willow tea during hte day (for the fever and the ouch. I know I'm probably to old to contract Reye's Syndrome, but I'm still not touching the Tylenol, just in case.)

Do you know of any herbal alternatives to calamine lotion? It's not helping any. I even tried the fancy calamine/benadryl kind and no luck.

Hope it works out with her. That really sucks, her getting deported and all. I almost asked if she tried Canada, but then I remembered how insular and stupid our government is. They probably said no. My family moved here when I was 4 and we almost didn't get in; and I know they've really tightend things down since then.

I wish I was closer too, so I could raid your medicine cabinet AND try to cheer you up! Of course, I'm contagious and shingles is caused by the same virus, so it probably wouldn't be a good idea. I'll try the tea, but can I get the name of the creme? (I can bribe someone to go to the herbal/nature store for me this afternoon.)

thew A/C healing creme. I called the natural food/druggist store and asked them to hold me some, cause they had it. Then i bribed a soccer buddy to get some. Then she went back and got more for the other two people on the team with it.
